The Landing, a Riverfront Inn - Hotel in Guttenberg - 703 S River Park Dr, USA

I planned this stop and my husband can't stop thanking me! We loved.... 3rd floor rooms have private balcony. Room 31 had large size fridge microwave, coffeemaker, dishes, silverware. Every floor has a balcony/deck. On the river boats for rent. Lock 10 walking distance. Several tug, barges went by. Several restaurants, shops within 3 blocks. Quiet, small town feel. We planned on relaxing vaca this year and this is perfect. Inconsistent TV service and stairs only complaint.

A beautiful view of the river in a quaint restored button factory. Only complaint is that we requested a room with 2 beds and got one bed and one uncomfortable pull out sofa bed. The room had a mini fridge, microwave and small coffee pot with only decaf coffee which was OK.

Great destination for a quick motorcycle ride. This is hands down the coolest little hotel in Iowa! You can't beat the fishing off the barge, and the owner is quite a character. Can't recommend this place enough. 5 STAR.

The Building is beautiful. Very rustic. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable, nice bathroom. Has a fridge and microwave. Staff were helpful and friendly.

This is a super place in a neat town perfect for motorcycle tours in the bluffs of the Great River Rd clean as a whistle and Tamie is the best innkeeper GO HERE! Love it 😍

What a fantastic place! The location of The Landing is perfect, right in the heart of downtown Guttenberg with beautiful views of the Mississippi River for miles. All along the front, there are places to sit and have a picnic, or simply watch the world go by. I was really impressed with the service I received from the staff here (the ladies at the front-desk were super friendly and welcoming). The room was really clean and the bed comfortable, shower worked great and it was a lovely place to stop for the night. Would certainly give The Landing a 10/10, and would not hesitate in returning again in the future. Many thanks to you, for making the stay a very memorable one!

Sept 2023, fun boutique type lodging, in an old button factory. They have punches and photos and record books of the former life of this building. We stayed in a 2 level room with private balcony. The suite was pretty nice, 2 beds upstairs with extra blankets and pillows, kitchen was adequate for an overnight or even a limited night stay, full size fridge, microwave, coffee maker, service for 4 flatware and plates etc. The balcony was perfect for sitting to watch the mighty Mississippi flow by. It was self service entry, your card and room key were on the counter so that was ok I guess, little to much personal info for other to see. Limited parking and with no one on the desk we were unsure where to park. Bottom line we would recommend and would stay again.

Great phone and internet communication. Very clean rooms. Greg Coffee area. I’ve stayed here many times before. Looking forward to my stay on my trip !
