We had an amazing stay at the Lakehouse Inn. This was our first time here and we were celebrating our engagement- it was beyond anything we could've imagined. Sam, Kathleen, and Junie were incredibly welcoming and hospitable. The complimentary spiked eggnog and bottle of wine were such a nice surprise and were really thoughtful touches that made our stay even more enjoyable. The complimentary breakfast was one of the best breakfast experiences we've ever had- it was so delicious and there was such a nice selection to choose from. Our room was comfortable, quant, and clean. Staying at the Inn during the holiday season only enhanced its charm and genuine coziness. Thanks to the entire staff for making our weekend unforgettable. We're excited to come back!
We had a very enjoyable stay @ The Lake House Inn. The room was toasty & exceptionally clean. Entire staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming! Kathleen is an amazing chef, throughly enjoyed breakfast, it was simply delish!! Thank you to the entire crew for a great stay!
This was our first time staying at The Lakehouse, and really enjoyed it!! The staff was very welcoming, helpful, and did all they could to make our stay comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, as well as the complementary hot cider when we arrived. The Inn is beautiful and has a lot of character, which complimented our trip to the Berkshires.
What a lovely place. Came for one night as a getaway from Connecticut and to see some foliage. We were greeted warmly, and given a cup of warm apple cider, spiked with a shot of rum if we wanted before we headed up to our room. They even upgraded us and we had a room with a separate bedroom, living area and bathroom and a door to the deck and we overlook the lake. There was complementary wine in our room as well and an offer to come downstairs for a taste of cognac. Didn’t have any of that however, the 24/7 coffee bar and fresh pastries or brownies were another lovely touch. We hope to return.
Loved our stay at the Inn. Lake front location felt serene but is also close to the local towns. We had a lake front suite which was lovely. Bed was extremely comfortable and all amenities were great. One downside which the inn cannot help is the deck is communal. We enjoyed using the kayaks and SUPs. The tea and snacks were a nice plus. Breakfast was terrific especially when weather permitted eating outside. The indoor dining room was ok but does not have a great vibe. Overall we would return and recommend.
We had a wonderful stay at the Lakehouse Inn. We had the suite overlooking the patio and lake. Breakfast was delicious and ordered from a menu, served either lakeside or inside. The staff fulfilled our every need. We were greeted with a welcome drink and a bottle of wine! This is a historic inn and as expected has some wavy, creaky floors. I loved it!

If you’re coming to visit the Berkshires you have to stay with Donna at the Lakehouse Inn. Not only is the view of the lake and autumn foliage breathtaking. But what really sets this Inn apart from others is Donna and her staff’s hospitality. As soon as we walked in we were offered a warm glass of rum cider that steeps for 48 hours. It was so delicious and I’m still thinking about it! I could also tell that Donna and her staff really love what they do and their energy was so genuine and inviting! On top of the cider, in our room, Donna left us a complimentary bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon that was good enough to drink on its own. She also gave us amazing restaurant recommendations where we had some of the best food! Donna also provides a complimentary breakfast that is to die for, you absolutely have to stay for breakfast and enjoy the views! Also fun fact, Donna produced High School Musical which is so cool! All in all, if you’re looking to get out of the city or enjoy a romantic getaway in the Berkshires. You have to stay at least one night at the Lakehouse Inn! I know we wish we’re able to stay longer!
