Got take-out to take back to our nearby AirBnB rental. One night, I got the Yellowstone burger (bison with cheese, bacon, and all) and BF got the fish and chips (halibut!). Both dinners were great. The next time, I got the halibut fish and chips and BF got a plain bison burger (as he prefers). Instead of fries, we had the clam chowder. Again, we really enjoyed our dinners. Lovely to have halibut in a fish and chip, not the usual cod. We'd eat there again, no doubt!

The service is awesome. The staff that we interacted with were incredibly helpful and friendly. The location was perfect for visiting our friends at Georgetown Lake. The room had minor issues - plug in the bathroom didn’t work, but it was very clean and roomy. Overall a fantastic value.

I love that they are pet friendly as I travel with 2 small dogs, but I wish my room had looked like the ones in the pictures. So glad I had flip flops because I refused to walk barefoot on the nasty carpet. The room smelled when I first walked in so I immediately opened all the windows. The shower was a little difficult to navigate as there was little adjustment to keep the water flow from hitting me directly in the face unless I directed it to the wall. A TV on the room would be nice too. Food was good at the restaurant and the staff was terrific. Cass is a gem and the owners should do whatever it takes to keep her around. She was very helpful and accommodating. I would come back to the restaurant but don’t think I would ever book another room unless some improvements are made.

Over priced! 1950's possibly 60's decor with fresh paint. Room smelt of gas upon entering. Furnace was not lit and pilot had gone out. After 2 requests handy man did get it lit. Rug was worn, stained and torn in 2 places. DO NOT go by website pictures! Menu was barely a good sandwich selection. If price was $60-75 would have been about right. Certainly not a $138 room! For the one night my son and I spent there, it did suffice. As an over the road trucker I have spent nights in some fairly " shabby" hotels. This one ranked about half way.

Husband and I wanting 2 day stay to visit the area. Staff was very friendly at check-in. In the room...website pics really glorify a room that was VERY LESS THAN CLEAN! Large stains on carpet. Could have written my name in the dust on furniture and picture frames. Dog hair on bedding. Human hair in bathroom..NOT FROM THE HEAD!! NO cleaning services or clean towels. We chose to grit our teeth and bare it! Our mistake for being so passive in this situation due to such little time for our mini vacation. Overview..friendly staff to take the cash..THEN, YOUR ON YOUR OWN. I will ask not to be attacked by owners as in previous posts as this review has NOTHING to do with us, but the lack of professionalism on the business.

The food was amazing, service was great and we heard some ghost stories. 10/10. Definitely coming back when I’m in the area. Update: we won shake a day and we’re still here. Never leaving.

Beware! My husband and I were attending a wedding and last minute decided to stay at the Lakehouse. I grew up in the area and wasn’t expecting much but this has been ridiculous. It was a cold late Sept night, and we arrived at the room around 9pm(before we headed into town). We turned on the ancient old propane furnace and left. The room was warm when we left. At 2am we arrived back and it was freezing. The furnace was hissing gas but it wouldn’t ignite. Couldn’t turn it off (valves were so old) so we had to open the room up and freeze so we didn’t die from carbon monoxide. The staff was helpful but always made excuses for the owner. The owner refused my refund but after numerous phone calls she had said they were refunding me. 5 months later and many more ignored calls- no refund or communication from the owner! I recommend that not only don’t stay here, but avoid it all around! AVOID at all costs! The rooms are pigs with lipstick. Look pleasant enough but no guarantees

Service was pretty slow. As expected for a little hole in the wall type of place. Try not to make it a big deal, but we sat with empty drinks for quite a while, and we were one of four occupied tables and a few folks at the bar. So not like the place was packed. Food actually came out pretty quickly, but two of our dishes were pretty crazy spicy, despite not being advertised as spicy on the menu. Chicken was cooked well, moist, and tender. Just spicy! Waitress/bartender was pretty nice though.

We had an amazing ski weekend at Sugar Loaf Lodge. Our cabin had beautiful rustic charm and was so cozy, warm and comfortable. The spiral staircase to get to the loft was a cool throwback and the views from the loft were amazing! The location is i
