My boyfriend and I booked a night here on a whim for a day trip and ended up extending the trip to an extra day! The staff here was so lovely especially their front coordinator Courtney. We kept having to call & come back to the lobby with questions and she was so kind and helpful! We brought our own kayaks unaware they provide you with them also, so that was a bonus! The back decks with the seating & fire pits are amazing! This will absolutely be our go-to place when we visit town again! Thank you all so much!
I don’t even know where to begin reviewing this wonderful place. The location is stellar being right on lake. The attention to detail rivals some of the finer hotels I’ve stayed in. The rooms are super clean and are comfortable. The staff is friendly, helpful, and takes great pride in keeping up with everything. The pictures online look great but wait til you see it in person. They thought of everything, down to commercial grills with all grilling tools provided. There are multiple lounging spots with fire pits, the one overlooking the lake is amazing. They have kayaks and paddle boards that are free to sign out. The heated pool is also really nice. We’ve stayed in a lot of places and this motel really blew us away.
Really nice place, with a fantastic view of the lake in a great location. Bed was very comfortable, and all amenities were as expected although there was no iron, it had to be collected from reception. We were travelling around, and our 2 night stay was supposed to be when we relaxed and reset before setting off again, but unfortunately, we had to put up with a car alarm going off at the adjacent hotel for the whole of our last night which meant we left more tired than when we arrived. Not The Lake Motel's fault directly but it still spoiled our stay.
We spent the weekend at The Lake Motel, and it was an amazing experience. The place was very clean, and our room was right by the lake. The view was stunning and the fireplaces were always lit, creating a cozy atmosphere. The staff were incredibly helpful and always had a smile on their faces. We had a fantastic holiday and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.
Had an awesome stay. The owners are great people and can’t do enough to make your stay pleasant. The rooms are clean and ours seemed to be recently updated. We have stayed here many times in the past and have always had a good experience. The grills down at the water are a nice touch.
Unbelievable find! |We booked a two room suite for our family of 6. Here is what we weren’t expecting but made this a 5 star stay:|* super comfortable beds|* plenty of room for all of us|* complimentary hot coffee in the mornings |* heated pool|* beachfront swimming area|* FREE kayak use for all of us!|* great recommendations on local eats (Bank cafe was amazing!)|* multiple grills for use|* 2 tiered porch over water|* other friendly guests who made this feel like home|* staff who were reasonable and did more than was expected to be helpful. |* walkable to downtown area|* close to Natural Stone Bridge/Fort Ticonderoga for those who like to explore. ||If you’re looking for a place that’s clean, with excellent care, and that feels like something out of the movie Cars: you’ve found your next destination.
This is a locally owned "classic style" roadside motel. First off, for the price ($79/nt - weeknight early May) it was a great deal for sure. The location was great, walking distance to everything in town and has very nice amenities right on the lake (pier with chairs, pool, outdoor fireplace, multiple gas firepits/ chairs at lake). I found the room very clean and appropriately updated but would have been a little on the small side if it was more than just me. The bed was not the most comfortable but was fine for a night or 2. The view/ proximity of the back of the neighboring motel gave the outdoor areas a bit of a claustrophobic feel (but it was clean and well kept) and parking/ turning around was extremely tight. I would stay there again for sure though!
Spent 3 nights at The Lake Motel. Plumbing issues caused hours of no water. Housekeeping staff was wonderful. Everyone was friendly. Although front desk staff is quite slow and ineffective. Seems like ownership offers very little in kind services for guests. Overcharges for drinks and the absolute worst apparel in the area.
My family and I absolutely LOVED this place. The owners Felix and Diana were so kind and accommodating. Our cabin, the pool, and the grounds were all immaculate. Our two-bedroom cabin was equipped with everything we needed for a peaceful and relaxing
Last minute booking as we lost the other booking in another hotel. Was bit sceptic as I never stayed 2 stars motel before. It was a pleasant surprise. The place is way above 2 stars. Room was clean and spacious. I didnt have any issue with bathroom l
For me and my wife the biggest selling point was that the O'Sullivan's is pet friendly. We have a bigger dog and it is often difficult to travel with him. O'Sullivan's solved that problem and clearly it wasn't an issue for just us - just about every
I came up to Lake George for my birthday and had a wonderful stay at the inn. It's a great location- you are within walking distance of the lake, so no need to deal with street parking. Elizabeth and Brady were very welcoming, the rooms were spotless
Birthday dinner. Packed house on a Wednesday night. Sat in the back room, very cozy space. House wine (very reasonable) and a signature cocktail. Both excellent. Small portions - crab cake app, cobb salad app. Again - both given high marks, the sala
Such a beautiful place. Loved our cabin, the property was beautiful, and such a wonderful place for kids. Had such a beautiful beach, and pools. Loved so much, and can't wait till next year .
My one night last minute escape to Lake George was amazing thanks to our server Sarah at my wine tasting at Adirondack Winery. I had such an experience with the 7 wine & 1 premium. My favorite which I renamed is the Beachside Bubbly *B!+â¬h yes I ad
