The Kulani Maui is a gorgeous bungalow-style stay tucked away in a mini jungle in the heart of Lahaina. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are spectularly designed. I wish the rooms were a little more private (sound travels easily with the open ceiling design). Location is walkable to downtown, or a short 2 min drive. We had an incident where we got locked out of our room for about an hour due to a keypad malfunction, but our host provided excellent customer service in getting us compensated for the mishap and we genuinely appreciated it. Very kind hosts and a lovely stay in Maui.

I stayed in the orchid room and it was Quiet, clean and serene. I would stay again for certain! Very comfy bed, cool vintage refrigerator and there were also beach towels, utensils/cookware , etc available for use. Heather was so awesome and helpful!

The Mango Tree bungalow #7 is the most spacious accommodation I’ve ever stayed in. Beautifully kitted out to the height of luxury by owners Heather and Pavel we thoroughly enjoyed 5 nights here, just a short walk from the beach and Lahaina’s busy Front Street.|The bathroom is immense and coffee machine filled with local beans - fabulous coffee! Helpful recommendations for restaurants too. Large lanai (veranda) and ceiling fans - we didn’t need the a/c unit in the bedroom. Laundry facilities too.|A very warm welcome from the owners. Recommended.

My wife and I were luckily able to book the mango tree bungalow for two nights on short notice after our previous arrangements fell through. The construction and interior design were really well done and the location is convenient to Front Street. The interior felt like a treehouse palace which had a giant copper soaking tub for two and a rain shower head with custom tile in the shower, and a fully equipped kitchen. The hosts are quick to respond to any questions and readily give suggestions for what to do/where to go. We are grateful for their hospitality and highly recommend these accommodations to anyone open to the charming sounds of Hawaii and for those who seek an authentic Hawaiian experience.

Great place to stay, comfy bed, newly renovated bathroom, and a somewhat open concept. Our room was close to the parking lot/entrance, which meant we were disturbed by the late arrivals and early departures. We have not tried any room located on the inside of the property, tempted to say you will sleep a lot better without the disturbances. Otherwise, fantastic property, love the vibe!

My husband & I stayed in the Bamboo Studio for 1 night, a very last minute booking. Total cost: $346.38. ||ARRIVAL/CHECK-IN: Easy. TIP: Owners ask that guests remove shoes. I've had a two foot surgeries & was permitted to wear my Crocs.||• Amenities: Mini fridge. I believe they have some sort of coffee bar, but neither of us drink it.|• Bath: Plenty of hot water & great pressure. Best shower we've ever had while traveling! They also provide high quality Alba Botanica products to use. TIP: There is a small screen window that does not close, but no one walked by.|• Bed: Queen sized. The mattress is firm, but the sheets were soft! So good in fact I bought a set when we returned home.|• Cleanliness: Immaculate|• Decor: We absolutely loved the style!|• Room temp: Decent. There is an A/C unit, but it takes several hours to cool the room.|• Sound: No soundproofing, so you'll likely be woken up around 8:00 AM-ish when others start moving around. I wouldn't recommend.. um.. adult activities 😉 unless it's very late, & you're very quiet.|• TV: Smaller size; average selection of channels|• View: No view, but a beautiful property! Be sure to take a walk around the gardens.|• WiFi: N/A||CUSTOMER SERVICE: So so for the one night. Emails are not responded to quickly or at all.||LOCATION: Nice residential area.||PARKING: Free, but a bit tight. ||Would I recommend? Yes

The Kulani is pure magic. They have really created something special here. The rooms are serene, open, airy. The outdoor shower is divine, and even the walk to your lodge is like a fantasy walk through a tropical rainforest. Everyone was very nice and super welcoming. We walked to the beach every night to watch the sunset with locals - and lots of cute local pups - and we went into town for dinner and excursions. We could not recommend the Kulani more - it will be the trip of a lifetime!

Elevated comfort meets tropical oasis. If you're looking to stay in a central area without the big resort/touristy vibe this is the spot. We loved the authentic Hawaiian feel of the rooms as well as our own private lanai and outdoor shower. The landscaping literally feels like you're in your own tropical jungle, it's just gorgeous! Bed was very comfortable as well and our hosts, Heather and Pavel, could not have been more accommodating. They really made our stay special. There's no other place on the island like The Kulani and we will definitely be returning!!
