Good portions of food here. Try Michael’s omelette - very good. Rye bread is delicious! If you like crispy hash browns be sure to ask for well done, ours came out a little greasy with no crisp. Service was a little slow at the counter but waitstaff overall are kind and friendly. Would love to try other menu items the next time I visit.
YUM!! The Kneadery is a quaint, charming restaurant serving breakfast and lunch in the heart of Ketchum. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals and agreed it was some of the best we had in the area! We began with fresh coffee ($3.75 for unlimited refills), which is restaurant’s special breakfast blend. It’s rich, bold with a hint of chocolate. With a little cream and sugar, I enjoyed it so much I probably had about three cups. For food, we bellied up to a half order of the aptly named “Famous Kneadery Benedict” (poached eggs with sliced Canadian bacon on a grilled Thomas’ English muffin, generously topped with special homemade hollandaise sauce. Served with golden hash browns & choice of toast, $11.75 [$14.75 for a full order]). The entire spread slapped - the hollandaise was delishhh! Buttery, tangy and velvety goodness that intensified the dish’s overall delivery. It’s no wonder why this dish is so popular! We also ordered the “Ultimate Belgian Waffle” ($10.75) with 4 slices of thick-cut bacon (+$5.50) and 2 eggs scrambled (+$2.25 each). Lord, the waffle was perfectly golden and fluffffffyyy! The bacon was fantastic! - it really was the thick, juicy kind that’s actually worth a damn. I found prices to be very reasonable, considering the atmosphere of the entire town. The entire bill before the tip was only ~$41.00. For two very hungry tummies that are used to paying $80+ for a full sized meal in these parts, this is one hell of a steal. Overall, this is a fantastic restaurant. The breakfast is I’ll love to come to try their lunch menu! Totally recommend!
The breakfast special today was one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. I never expected to say that black beans were life changing, but these were fantastic. Smoky flavor, with a well-seasoned and soft steak. The French toast was good, but it was no match for the special. We got into it so fast that I barely got a picture of it for reference. Our server, Diana, was so kind and helpful. 10/10 we will be back next time we are back in the area.
We try to hit this place at least once every time we’re in Sun valley. It’s probably the best breakfast in Sun Valley now that Perry’s is closed. We got a hot chocolate with whip cream. We also had eggs Benedict and some other stuff. The bacon was cooked to perfection. Everybody enjoyed their meals. Can’t wait to come back in July.
I was in the mood for an early afternoon breakfast and found The Kneadery. The bacon, eggs and hash browns were all well prepared and delicious. I also ordered French toast and it was superb - best I've ever had! It was served with caramelized chunks of pumpkin and apple, walnuts, pumpkin seeds and just the right amount of syrup and whipped cream - just outstanding! Highly recommended!
A must go breakfast spot in Sun Valley. We were blown away by their eggs Benedict. We strongly recommend both the Cowboy Benny (very tender shirt steak and a fun twist with the jalapeños) and the Eggs Benedict with smoked Idaho trout (subtle smokiness, feels very light). Finish it off with a warm, soft (and giant) cinnamon roll and you have yourself a very satisfying and memorable breakfast!
Good food, good service! It a hot spot so be prepared to wait to sit. The cowboy Benny was a good change, good steak. The huevos kneadery was something different but super good! Mimosas were on point and the decor was awesome!
I ordered Veggie Benedict+Mimosa(photo) and my husband ordered Cuban burger. His burger was better than my order and the Mimosa was too aerated. Something was off with our waitress as well. However, the place is pretty and good ambience. Let's say, I wanted to like this place but was not happy.
We came here and had a great meal as a family. The burgers were cooked perfectly. They had a nice charbroiled flavor. The guy helping us even put the game we wanted to watch on.
This hotel is an excellent choice for families or anyone looking for a budget friendly option. Yes it's older. But the amenities more than make up for it. The rooms are on the small side, but we weren't in them much but to sleep. Refrigerator in the
