The Kingsley Bloomfield Hills - a Doubletree by Hilton - Hotel in Bloomfield Hills - 39475 Woodward Ave, USA

What happened was just this. The wind began to switch. 🎵 A storm rolled through Bloomfield Hills, and suddenly everything started to unhitch. We were excited to stay here, but just as we were checking-in, a storm raged through and blew out the power at the hotel, right as we unloaded our luggage. What happened next showed us the integrity of the hotel. We were escorted by lantern through halls to our room by female staff. We were given options with how to proceed - even with an unknown time frame for restoration. We were quite personally helped to find alternate accommodations by the exceptional staff who were clearly working overtime. The irony of this review is - we didn’t even stay here. Yet, we were treated so well, we know this will be our stay for our scheduled return in a few months. We can’t wait to see what the place looks like with the lights on. 😁 See you soon!!!

Super friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and contemporary. Great location and Hotel is a nice size. Will definitely stay here again. By the way, the restaurant was good. Not a generic bland hotel restaurant but fresh food and friendly service and gluten free chocolate chip cookies. I always judge a restaurant/bakery based on whether they have a gluten free option.

The room and hotel are excellent. But do not expect good customer service when you need something beyond the usual. I left a few items in the room. Multiple calls to the hotel confirmed they had the items in their lost & found. Apparently the only way to get them back will be to pick them up in person. |I tried to arrange sending a prepaid shipping label but no one would return my call for the information needed to send the label.

I stayed at the Kingsley Hotel for 5 nights while visiting family and friends. I’ve stayed at this hotel previously but this trip was superb.|The only negative was the signs directing you to and from your room should be updated as I often felt I was walking through a labyrinth to find my way to room 123. Many times I was escorted by a lovely person from the front desk.|Overall the management did back flips to insure that my stay was wonderful.|The team at the front desk was excellent…professional and accommodating.|Rick drove the hotel van to pick up a toothbrush that I forgot to bring…amazing.|My room was spotless and quiet…also a very nice bar for an evening cocktail.|The hotel location is very close to downtown Birmingham stores and restaurants….i will definitely be back!,|Thank you !

This hotel from the moment you walk in to everything about it is wonderful. The staff the front desk was extremely helpful, I mean above and beyond the nicest hotel I’ve ever been to. Mark , Leah , conner and Daria were so nice and went the extra mile so you didn’t have to worry. Rick the drive for the hotel also super helpful nice man if you need to go short distance they have a vehicle. The food in both restaurants is amazing, along with lovely hotel bar to meet clients or friends. They have a gym and pool. Super cozy clean rooms. Not much more you can ask for.! Thanks again Kingsley inn you never disappoint . I will be back ;)

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a delicious cookie, which was a lovely touch. The staff were incredibly nice, accommodating, and always willing to help with any requests, including a late-night toilet issue.||||The property itself is very nice, with well-maintained facilities and a welcoming atmosphere.

I didn't take any pictures in the room because we git in late. But it was perfect. I'm very picky about rooms because I used to work at a couple hotels. We had just came from a concert and checked into a different hotel that was a nightmare. So I found this one and it was beyond amazing. Clean and friendly. In the morning I saw the staff and they all seemed to enjoy their jobs. The bakery on-site was cute but as another option we ordered from a local coney island that was only a few minutes away and had a bigger variety. Definitely a great place to meet up with friends and take pictures and be social. Definitely returning.

Charming hotel in an excellent area. Beautiful lobby & bar area, with two restaurants you can access from inside the hotel. One high end seafood place and the other an upscale diner. Rooms are nicely decorated, bed was comfortable. Bathroom bright and clean, a little small, but everything was modern and worked well. Parking is at the back, lots of space. Booked a room on the street level (2nd floor), close to the lobby though i probably would pick 3rd floor next time.
