The Kenwood Gables B&B - Bed & breakfast in St. Petersburg - 2801 7th Ave N, USA

I loved my stay at Kenwood Gables B and B! I went to see the area and to help my 21 year - old son get settled to start a gap year. Jayson and Raymond, the owners, take extraordinary care to make sure that their guests feel pampered: high-end coffee, hot chocolate and tea in the room, cooled glasses in the refrigerator, and quality, delicious choices for breakfast. I booked the Nomad suite to make sure there was an extra bed for my son. Both beds were very comfortable and the fabrics used on the bed and in the room were very luxurious. The air conditioning system worked great. I spent a lot of time also in the living area getting to know both Jayson and Raymond who were extremely helpful with places to go eat and explore, and recommended areas my son might look for a residence and place to live. The decor was elegant, yet relaxing and inviting. After staying for 4 nights, I wished I was able to stay longer. When I left, I felt like I had made 2 new friends in Raymond and Jayson.

We couldn’t been more pleased with our stay at the Kenwood Gables B&B! The couple who run the inn really go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and at home. Our room was comfortable and clean, it was the Casita next to the pool and had a fridge and anything we could have asked for. Raymond suggested a great beach nearby, and also mentioned a couple of places for dinner. Breakfast was extraordinary, they have pastries, fruits, yogurts, granola (both gluten free and regular) and an egg bar which was succulent. We took a dip at the pool before checking out and Raymond was kind enough to give us a couple of extra minutes. We will absolutely return to this magnificent and lovely historical b&b - the neighborhood was lovely and it’s close to a ton of cute bars and restaurants. 100% recommended

This boutique hotel was exquisite. Our hosts were more than accommodating and attentive. Their beautiful home was clean, warm, and inviting. We felt comfortable, had some puppy love from their adorable pooches, enjoyed the relaxing pool area, and the fantastic fresh breakfast. Definitely recommend to all, the B&B was located in the lovely historic district and minutes from downtown St. Petersburg. We will be staying here again! Thank you!!!

To start, the home is so centrally located that that alone is reason enough to stay. It's minutes from everything in St Pete, which maximized vacation enjoyment by minimizing drive times. As for the B&B, it is architecturally a pleasure to be in with exquisite woodwork throughout, and great stories about its history. It's so easy to relax there that you may not want to leave, and very quiet at night without the typical roar of downtown activity. Our room, the Castaway, was exceptionally clean and comfortable, making us feel right at home. ||The hosts, Kona Bean and Fizzgig, were attentive to our every need, making sure to greet us whenever we walked in and seeing us off when we left each day for the museums. Reymond and Jayson weren't too bad either!||In fact, the best part of the stay was having the opportunity to talk with Reymond and Jayson each morning at breakfast. We've stayed at many B&Bs and this was by far the most engaging pair of hosts, keeping breakfast conversations with all the guests lively, and often having us not heading out the door per our daily schedule because we didn't want to miss out on the in-house social event!||As for breakfast, there was an amazing array of fresh fruits (yeah, with pastries and omelets and other things too). We left well-fueled every morning and never had an omelet that we didn't savor. Thanks Jayson!||We'd usually return late in the day before heading out for dinner, and whenever Reymond and Jayson were in, they always asked for a debrief of our activities to keep up with what we saw and liked, or offer a story related to where we had been to add some depth to our stay, and always asked where we were headed for dinner in case reservations might be need (which they graciously took care of). ||In short, this is what a B&B is supposed to be. Reymond, Jayson, Kona, and Fizzi have clearly reached the pinnacle of providing the B&B experience for their guests.

This B&B is absolutely beautiful!!! The pictures online are beautiful but once you arrive the property is more beautiful and welcoming. Reymond and Jayson are the perfect hosts. They both make you feel very welcome every day and go out of their way to make sure your vacation is relaxing. They are both a wealth of knowledge of restaurants and activities in and around St. Petersburg. We can't wait to come back very soon. Thanks for a great week!!

This is a great (really great) place to stay if you're in the greater Tampa area. The location is perfect: 20 minutes from wherever you want go go, 5 minutes from downtown St. Pete, but in a quiet neighborhood away from the tourist craziness. The owners Reymond and Jayson have gone above and beyond with their hospitality and attention to detail to make you feel at home. It is an adorable, calm, cozy place to stay, and might be the cleanest place we've ever stayed (my home included). The breakfast was gourmet. The conversation was sentimental (talking about our past lives living in NYC). And their two little dogs gave me a dog fix. My favorite part was their pool -- perfect temperature, perfect chaise lounge under an umbrella, listening to birds and the wind through palm trees. We can't wait to go back. So glad our son moved to St. Pete.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at this bed and breakfast. The property is gorgeous, so many little details show the love and pride of ownership. The bed was very comfortable. Both, room and bathroom are tastefully decorated. Breakfast was outstanding and plentiful. We also could choose between two different freshly made omelets every morning. Best omelet I ever tasted! The owners are amazing. We definitely recommend staying at the Kenwood Gables B&B.

When I tell you I love Kenwood Gables, I mean I LOVE Kenwood Gables!!! Reymond and Jayson are two of my favorite people! They have turned from amazing hosts to family! ||This was our 3rd stay! The feeling of coming home while on vacation is very rare and 100% the feeling I get when walking into this beautiful bed and breakfast. ||The breakfast is always delicious, fresh, and fun! Having wonderful conversations with other guests or our amazing hosts start the day on a happy note. ||Our room was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our little getaway! The products in the bathroom are of high quality. Fresh coffee/tea available, water in the fridge, and so much more. I always feel like they go a little extra for me, but then you learn they treat every single guest as a VIP. Absolutely amazing! ||I can’t wait to return! Thank you Jayson and thank you Reymond for all you give us, spoiling us with your hospitality, culinary experiences, friendship, and love. ❤️
