The Karol Hotel, St. Petersburg Clearwater, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel - Hotel in Clearwater - 2675 Ulmerton Rd, USA

I only went once, to meet some coworkers at the 'rooftop' bar. When I couldn't see them at first I thought I was in the wrong place because I expected a rooftop vs top floor with access to a small walkway around it on the outside. My short time there was nice enough though, I had a lovely tasty drink (Carol something) and they seemed to have had a good time. The server was nice and pleasant. She kept checking to ensure we were good, and to see how I liked the drink. Loud though so it's hard to hear. Went elsewhere to eat (due to small selection & pricey) and be able to talk. I'd meet someone again here though.

The service and amenities for the price were excellent. The Vantage rooftop bar and K Club Bistro were delicious. Explored hosting an event there and the staff was friendly and helpful. The gym was clean and sanitizer was stocked to wipe down equipment. Multiple machine options, dumbbells and accessories. Would recommend for any looking for a spot in this area.

This is a wonderful upscale hotel. HOWEVER, it is a business hotel and, understandably, they are trying to drum up weekend business. I get it BUT, first, when we booked two nights on a weekend, they did not inform us of the unique “white only” event AND second, they do not take into consideration the loud music at the rooftop bar on the floors below. We were on the fifth floor listening to loud music above until midnight. I understand trying to encourage weekend business but not to the detriment of loyal (platinum) customers. In addition, the food at the bistro was “ok” but at a a more than “ok” price. I will, say that the staff overall were awesome. I did consistently hear that management has changed often and they are going through many changes. Hopefully, they will find a balance between their loyal customers and drumming up weekend business.

Beautiful hotel in a very convenient location. The area is nice and has a lot of experiences. The property is well kept, very clean and fancy looking as most of the Tribute Hotels. There are lots of picture opportunities around the property. We had an amazing one bedroom suite. I would like to thank Valentyna who checked us in and given us all the tips around the hotel and area, as well as Conary who helped us at the bar. It's a beautiful open roof top bar with an amazing view and delicious cocktails and my favorite flourless chocolate tort dessert. Everyone from the staff crew was exceptionally courteous helpful and friendly, especially I would like to admit Faviola, Genesis, Melissa. The customer service which is not so common these days is definitely at the high level at the Karol Tribute hotel. We are definitely coming back!

We had a great suite on the sixth floor that overlooked the bay. The room was extremely nice - with both a shower and a tub. The bed was very comfortable with a pillow-type top to it. Our room was quiet and we slept great. We ate both dinner and breakfast at the hotel which was also good.

The Karol Hotel was the perfect spot for our annual company off-site, nearly halfway between industry events in downtown Tampa and Clearwater Beach, where we planned a couple of team-building activities. The staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly, and the Events Manager Ava was fantastic. We were able to distribute gift bags upon check-in, had a perfect space for our business meeting, and communication during our stay was great. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the on-site food and drink spots we tried were solid. I'd recommend The Karol Hotel for any events, gatherings, or personal stays, and will look it up when I'm in the Tampa/St. Petersburg area in the future.

Gem of a stay. No complaints on weekend visit. Staff awesome. Complimentary champagne was a treat. Hotel is modern and clean. Restaurant on sight very elegant. Rooftop bar is the hidden gem of this hotel. A must visit on your stay. Make sure you ask for Taj at the bar. She will make your visit memorable and enjoyable with her expertise mixology skills. Will be returning on the next visit to the area. Parking is plenty and free. Entrance was not difficult to find as others said.

We attended a business meeting here for the first time as a new location for our meetings.. Gorgeous lobby, nice meeting room. Perfect temperature. We were provided both breakfast and lunch. The food was very good. Fresh fruit, bacon, and eggs were all very nice. Lunch was burgers and brats, wings, nachos, sautéed veggies. All the sauces and condiments. Hotel staff checked in on us periodically. Staff was located outside our room for anything we needed. The location was central to major highways. At the conclusion, our group headed upstairs for a cocktail and dessert. Unfortunately I wasn't able to stay. If it's anything like the rest of the day, it must have been fabulous.
