Had an amazing stay at the lodge. check-in was quick and easy… rooms were exceptionally clean… cute little lodge, Danielle ,I believe the name of the woman at the front desk. She is amazing. Gave us tips where to eat at all the nearby restaurants. I would definitely stay there again. Pool was big and clean. It’s within walking distance to some great restaurants ,they even have one on site which the food was amazing and I had the best rum punch ever. it’s definitely not a five star hotel, but it doesn’t have the five star price either….and the scenic view of the mountains from my balcony , beautiful.I’m so glad I stayed there. right at the beginning of the Kangamangus Highway, which is where we went riding. Bed was comfy AC worked hot water in the shower. Everything worked ,everything clean!!!

My husband and I booked this hotel on the recommendation of another couple who have stayed here in the past. The whole place has that woodsy, rustic feel. We stayed in the West Lodge. The room itself wasn't horrible but the beds were the worst I've ever slept on. Cheap? Old? Most likely a combination of both. Neither of us slept very well the two nights we were there and our backs hurt like heck! Watch your head in the shower if you're tall, it's a low one because of the steam option. Great water pressure though! We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony our second night. Our first night the group staying on the first floor had literally set up camp in the parking area and were noisy. Not sure why they were allowed to set up canopies and take up most of the parking lot. The indoor pool was warm and very nice! We stopped in CJ's for a quick bite to eat since it was right on site. The nachos were okay but the margaritas tasted like all mixer, no tequila.

I found the family-run Kancamagus Lodge after a long day's hike and I was excited that there was a room available. It was super clean and had everything I needed, including a mini fridge, heat, A/C, large TV AND a bathtub which was a Godsend after all that hiking. Danielle was very friendly and helpful. She pointed me to Arnold's Wayside Diner for a delicious breakfast not far away -- an authentic 1950s diner that was towed there from NJ in 1984. I'll definitely stay at the Lodge again.

From checkin to checkout. Top notch! Clean, affordable. Danielle was so welcoming and helpful. Beds were comfortable. My only downside is I would have at least 1 bright light in the room. It was a little dark. I would be happy to stay here again.

Clean quiet rooms and just minutes from Loon where we were headed. In room fridge and a balcony were big pluses, and an ice machine that works made our stay perfect. Large indoor pool a big plus for ski and leaf season, the weather was too nice for us so we never used it.

This was probably a great place to stay 10-20 years ago. Unfortunately, Lincoln has grown massively over the last couple of decades, and this lodge is 30 feet from the very busy, very loud Main St. traffic (including an endless stream of motorcycles the night I was there). The room reeked of cleaning products, so I had to open the window after checking in. The mattress was very saggy and noisy, so I had trouble falling asleep. There are vertical blinds on the windows but no blackout curtains, so the traffic and light woke me up very early. It's a shame, because some of the issues could be fixed, but the traffic is only going to get worse.

Stayed here for 2 days. The staff was always pleasant and helpful. The pool area was nice. We saw some people having fun using the basketball court. The restaurant was never open that I could tell when we were there. The motel was close to several good restaurants and a short drive to alot of attractions. The reason I can't give 5 stars is that the motel just seems tired. The beds are worn out, the carpet is worn out, there are cracked tiles everywhere. The place just needs some refurbishing.

My friend & I rented rooms the night before a very long hike and wanted to be minutes from the trailhead. The rooms are cute and very clean. My bed was comfortable. The A/C worked well. The bathroom is dated but super clean and has great hot water & water pressure. The front desk person was very nice and accommodating. We were leaving at 5:15 AM & I asked if there was a microwave in the room. There isn't but she said she would open the office, which has a microwave, at 5AM for our use. True to her words, she was there and I was able to use the microwave. The location is AWESOME! It's right next to The Common Man, a wonderful restaurant for drinks, dinner (or lighter fare in the gorgeous bar).
