Nice to walk or jog around sea front... cool and calm weather... you like sweat on these track...Nice views.. you have good playground for kids, you can find restrooms at frequent intervals, dogs like to walk and play at these areas.. its good to have fun and picnic with your family and friends...
Ok let me be blunt. If you don't start your tour of Chicago here you better finish your trip here. The boat tours will never get old. Take one during the day and night and walk it as well day and night. Just know it takes in a different vibe and feel at night. Have fun

Went to check out Art on the Mart on Saturday and it was awe-spiring! The display repeats and is short and sweet so it’s a nice pit stop.
The Jetty is the best place to view the display since there’s audio there. It’s directly across from Merchandise Mart but on the other side of the river.
The riverwalk is so nice in Chicago. Certainly one of the highlights. Very cosy atmosphere. Different cafes/bars. Beautiful views.
We went down to the Riverwalk to check out the latest "Art on the Mart" exhibit. It was a beautiful evening. The Riverwalk is a wonderful amenity to the city any time of day but is especially colorful at night with the lights of the city reflecting off the water. People were out walking along the river, the restaurants and bars were partially open, but overall, it felt like things are starting to get back to normal ... hopefully it's a sign of better things to come this summer after a year+ of pandemic closures.
The River is beautiful right now with lots of kayaks and small boats. Not as many of the River Cruise boats due to the pandemic.
