Good food, good service. I had the combo plate, the meat lasagna was just too salty. We also enjoyed the linguini with chicken and pesto sauce, and linguini with Alfredo sauce.
Portions are big, don't skimp on the bread and plan on bringing half home.
If you get dessert, skip the tiramisu, it was seemingly pulled out the fridge/freezer and microwaved. It wasn't moist, it desperately needs some love though didn't receive any, from us or the restaurant.
In the basement of a building. Has living room style lighting. About a 30 minute wait when we went there on a Sunday evening it was a holiday weekend. They were a little heartbroken that we didn't want to have any wine with the dinner. The noodles were good texture . Pasta sauce was well cooked. The rolls that they kept brought to the table were little baby ciabatta buns, which were adorable. If you like Italian food you'll probably like this place. If Italian food reminds you of having spaghetti at home as a kid every week this will probably remind you of that spaghetti, but the best version of it. So depending on how you liked having spaghetti every week will depend if you want to go here.
Was a bit hesitant based on reviews that were either hit or miss. Keep in mind we went on a weekday and it wasn't busy at all. Were sat immediately and given great bread and some tasty garlic butter.
We both ordered alcohol drinks that were delicious. I ordered fettuccine Alfredo and it was perfect. Great portion, good noodle consistency, great flavor. My bf ordered the half lasagna and spaghetti dish and he loved it. I tasted it and the sausage in his dish was a bit too spicy (seasoning) for me.
Overall great choice, left full and happy.
We loved everything about this place! We stayed in GWS for our honeymoon and this little spot was a complete find! As you wonder down the stairs to this quaint little Italian restaurant you felt like you left Colorado. All the staff were so friendly and attentive. We had Spaghetti and Meatballs and Their special Macaroni and Cheese with Broccoli and tritip steak. OMG what a tantalizing treat for our tastebuds!
I went straight here on our day in Glenwood Springs. We got the Chef's special, which was braised short ribs with a mushroom creamy sauce pasta. The short rib was so tender and the creamy mushroom sauce was delicious. We also got rigatoni pasta with spicy sausage tomato sauce, which was amazing! Both entrees were served with salad of your choice and bread. For dessert, we had tiramisu, which was well balanced in flavor.
This place was amazing! The atmosphere and food here was a perfect way to end our Glenwood Springs experience. My fiance kept saying the Traditional Alfredo is probably the best he has had! I personally loved the Traditional Anselmo Sauce with Meatballs! Bonus: the Garlic Butter and Bread!!! We will totally be comparing any future italian restuarants to this place to see if we can find something as great as this restuarant.
We’ve been coming here annually since the 1980’s. The last few years the food has been so so. Last night we ordered pasta al Genovese (pesto). The waitress asked if I wanted creamed pesto? What? I said I wanted al Genovese pasta. She had no idea what I was saying. The waitress was nice, but ADD as she couldn’t concentrate on our table when ordering, talking to folks at two other tables at the same time. The food was not good. No taste whatsoever. The pasta was over cooked and the pesto was bland and tasteless. So sad, beautiful location and ambiance but food was bad.
This restaurant's appeal, akin to that of certain wines or art pieces, seems to be more about its label and popularity than its culinary offerings. The food, while satisfactory, doesn't stand out from that of typical eateries. Its high ratings can largely be attributed to its prime Glenwood location rather than any distinctive dining experience. In my view, the overall experience didn't justify the cost. On a positive note, the bruschetta was a delightful exception.

Great way to start an early birthday celebration! David was awesome and chose some shots for us that were so delicious. It's dog-friendly and you can bring in food from elsewhere. Love supporting our local craft distillers!
Perfect place for a stay in Glenwood Springs! Close to everything, also safe and quiet. Super cozy, but I can't say enough about the VIEW. We stayed in the Colorado suite and it was the best view to wake up to in the mornings. Make sure you stop by D
We really enjoyed the hike! Beautiful- enough of a challenge, but not so difficult that someone that doesn't always hike can't do it. We hiked it in comfortable shoes, and jeans. My husband carried our 9 month old on his back just fine. We are fairl
These guys do a great job of stocking hard to find items for hunting, items I canât even find in ANY of the big box stores between Salt Lake City and Grand Junction. Itâs also great to support local, and if youâre bowhunter, they have an indoor

My favorite combination of low key and nice dinner. You canât go wrong with the short rib and the calamari. The specials are typically a strong item as well. Oh and also the chicken lollipops are great. Come as a family dinner or a nice dinner with
