The Islander Inn - Hotel in Vero Beach - 3101 Ocean Dr, USA

Coming from Connecticut we were met with such a warm welcome by Gary and Jeff. Their hospitality was truly unmatched. From answering questions to just having friendly conversation these guys made our stay so pleasant. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the location was perfect to walk to the beach, the stores and local restaurants. Jeff even went out of his way to help us with adjusting the bicycles that were free to ride. We already look forward to coming back!

The Islander is the perfect place to stay in Vero. Super clean, comfortable and convenient. The staff is the best you will find anywhere. Gary and Jeff give the most personalized service. And they’re the reason we keep coming back. Greg and Catalina make sure the coffee and muffins are fresh and delicious every morning. Catalina and Ellen keep everything so clean. Carlos keeps everything in perfect repair. We love this place and the people who work here! Definitely home away from home.

Truly one of the best experiences we’ve ever had in our travels because of General Manager Gary and Assistant Manager Jeff. They are true hosts. And the reason we stayed an unplanned extra night. And the reason we are already making plans to come back. They made us feel so welcomed and wanted and the Islander our home away from home.|Everything is very clean and so comfortable. Champagne in the evenings created a light-hearted and welcoming social time and coffee every morning created a relaxing and peaceful start to each morning - both served in the court yard. Loved having the bicycles to ride around town and beach chairs for relaxing at the beach. So convenient to everything we wanted to experience. A Vero Beach gem!!

Awesome place to stay right across from the beach. This was our second stay at The Islander & it feels like coming home! The rooms are clean & bright & beachy, the staff is courteous & helpful, & the location is fantastic. Being right on Ocean Drive, you can walk to MANY shops, restaurants & bars &, of course, the beach. We were here for the annual Christmas parade, and it went right by the front of the inn. Get a taste of old Florida yet with modern amenities & a lovely Good Morning muffin & cup of coffee!

This hotel represents the “old Florida” feel - but with modern updates. Recently renovated bathrooms, new A/C units, free secure WiFi make this an ideal place to spend a few days. The staff are great: friendly, helpful & the manager lives on-site. We loved the location. It’s just a short walk to numerous restaurants and shopping, and right across the street from a cute park with easy beach access. Although they have no restaurant, each morning there’s coffee, tea & muffins in the courtyard - all free. Would recommend to any friends or family!

We had a family get together in Vero Beach and are we glad we picked this place for everyone to stay!! First off, you will not find a more accommodating person as Gary who is the manager. From check in to hugs at check out, he made everyone feel like family! Thank you to both he and Jeff for taking care of us all! Rooms are super clean, spacious and comfortable. If you get lucky to book the King Suite, you have lots of room with separate living area and dining table. It was great for making it the hub of our gatherings. With 5 rooms booked, the courtyard and pool were so convenient for gathering and staying close. Location is unbeatable with the gorgeous beach just across the street, beautiful boutiques for shopping and a plethora of restaurants to satisfy whatever you are looking for. We've stayed elsewhere in Vero many times but now that we've experienced the Islander Inn, I can't imagine staying anywhere else when we come to visit. Thanks again Gary and Jeff - you two rock!

Everything was perfect. We were initially planning to spend one night but ended up staying there for four nights (the rest of our holiday). Gary and Jeff were incredibly helpful and kind, they made our stay unforgettable! The rooms have a pleasant beach house feel, everything is clean and well maintained. There is a nice pool, coffee and muffins are provided every morning and there is even complimentary champagne on Friday and Saturday evenings, which is a nice touch. The location is great, 3 minutes walk to the beach (which has fine, clean sand and clear water). There are quite a few bars and restaurants around if you don't feel like taking the car.

We had a lovely stay at this cute, atmospheric motel-style inn right in the middle of the oceanside village part of Vero Beach. The rooms were comfortable with vaulted ceilings, adequate bathrooms and a mini-fridge and microwave. Coffee and muffins are served in the courtyard every morning and champagne on weekend evenings! The hoteliers are so kind and responsive it really made our stay a pleasure. You can walk to the beach and a playground right across the street, multiple restaurants and shops are also within walking distance and there is a gourmet grocery store literally 200 yards from the side entrance of the hotel at which you can get breakfast and lunch. Will totally stay again.
