First I have to say how nice the owners Craig and Shiree are, they are very down to earth people and extremely accommodating. They made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. The Inn At White Oak is absolutely stunning and is surrounded by gorgeous property. There is also a refreshing in-door pool. We stayed at the cottage which was quite lovely. I don’t want to forget the breakfast Shiree makes. It is not only delicious, but also presented beautifully. We will definitely be back and would not stay anywhere else.
We had the most wonderful stay for our Anniversary weekend getaway. The Inn at White Oak is the nicest B&B we have ever stayed. The breakfasts are delicious and we enjoyed having it brought to our room each morning. The home is warm, cozy, and beautiful surrounded by such peacefulness. I felt so relaxed and rested by the time we left. The owners and staff were kind, very attentive, and helpful. We enjoyed many other amenities available. We felt so at home and cannot wait to go back! We highly recommend that you go check it out for yourselves!
What a wonderful getaway! Our room (Lieutenant's Qtrs) was clean and thoughtfully prepared. The house is gorgeous. Shiree has done a wonderful job with decorating as well as making a delicious breakfast AND planning our spa treatments. Craig is an amiable and helpful host as well, giving us a tour and rundown of what’s available on premises.
They’ve thought of everything- teas, coffees, sodas and water in the pantry area to a wide variety of seating inside and outside for chilling out. The saltwater pool is also awesome.
We absolutely will come here again!
Beautiful inn in a wooded setting. The breakfasts were delicious! We booked the Gettysburg battlefield tour through them, and it was great. Our private guide was excellent. Hosts are wonderful, very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.
The pictures do not do this place justice. It is beautiful and welcoming. My fiancée loves the civil war. He is a history teacher and wanted to spend 4 days in Gettysburg. I was interested in about two. I looked for a place with a spa so I could treat myself while he explored. This place was perfect! I did the Queen for the day and spent time in the salt water pool. |The food was amazing and honestly the best I have had from any B&B. Free drinks and the place is decorated with such thought and care. Highly recommend!
We were looking for a romantic escape and we found it. So serene and peaceful. Beautiful Inn filled with antiques and spotless (important because my wife has asthma.) The grounds are mesmerizing with a babbling brook and multiple ponds. The breakfast were gourmet and the ginger cookies delicious. We would love to go back.
My husband and I just returned from The Inn at White Oak. We had a wonderful time visiting Gettysburg. Our room, Commanders Quarters, was absolutely beautiful. The owners were friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The place and the grounds were peaceful and picturesque. We also decided to take a private tour of Gettysburg. Our guide was John; he was informative and a great tour guide. We truly enjoyed our stay and we would highly recommend it to anyone wishing to visit Gettysburg in the future. |Catherine and John Caufield
Our best ever trip to Gettysburg. The innkeepers and staff are so friendly. We stayed in The General’s Quarters and the room was clean and spacious, and the view from our room was stunning. The grounds are gorgeous and the setting of this B&B is so peaceful and relaxing. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious. And the Ginger Chocolate Chip cookies that are baked fresh every afternoon……..WOW! We can’t wait to go back for another getaway!

This is the best ice cream! A friend told us to be sure and stop here when we traveled to Gettysburg. I'm so glad we did. We had fresh peach in a waffle cone. It was the best fresh peach we've ever had, and the waffle cone was so fresh. Yum!!
