The Inn at Vaucluse Spring consists of a manor house and various other buildings and cabins in a beautiful setting in the Shenandoah Valley. My husband and I stayed in Gabrielle's Room near the manor house. It was a very spacious, pretty room with a king size bed. Derrick and Tiffany are model hosts who go out of their way to be friendly and accommodating. Derrick's three course breakfasts are very delicious and creative. They also have fresh baked cookies each day and offer free bottles of water and soda. There are many restaurants a short drive away that fit all tastes, as well as several nice wineries. You won't regret staying here!

My husband and I had a special weekend planned to visit Shenandoah National Park for the first time. We wanted a luxury retreat-scape instead of a run of the mill motel to celebrate our precious time together. The owners blended their clearly deep experience in the hospitality industry with all the warmth you'd expect from long-lost family members. The Cabin was so private and quiet (if you don't count the insect and frog chirping!) and exceptionally clean and well appointed. Breakfasts were TOO good--hopefully the superb hiking in Shenandoah offset Derrick's culinary skills. I appreciated no Wi-Fi or TV in the room. It added to the feeling of being on a retreat or in a sacred space.

Everything about this inn was terrific. we had the entire main house to ourselves for the 2 nights we were there so it was nice and quiet. the jones room was very big, comfortable bed and chairs. very big bathroom with a jacuzzi tub, vanity, a dresser and separate water closet. The owners tiffany and derrick were so nice. derrick was a really good cook, whipping up a delicious breakfast every morning. ||||the inn is not far from several area attractions. some shopping on the pedestrian mall in town of winchester, where you can also tour the home of Patsy Cline if you are a fan. there are also a few breweries and wineries near by. the skyline drive in the shenandoah national park is about 20 minutes away. it is about 110 miles long so if you are planning on seeing it take the highway to the southern entrance and work your way north this way your ride back to the inn isnt too bad.

I stayed at The Inn at Vaucluse Spring last weekend for the first time and I could not have been happier. We were greeted with a warm smile immediately when we checked in. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking and the mansion is unbelievable. My room was very nicely furnished and beautifully decorated. The bed was extremely comfortable. After roaming the grounds and the mansion on Saturday afternoon we headed to the dining area for the evening. We were greeted by our gracious host Barry Neil, who happens to be the owner. Barry made everyone feel at home with his charm and great sense of humor. After getting acquainted with everyone we sat down for dinner and what a dinner it was. The chef was fantastic and prior to serving dinner he came into the dining area to explain what he was preparing for dinner with great detail. This was one of the best meals I have ever had...compliments to the chef! I highly recommend The Inn at Vaucluse Spring. Believe me you will not be disappointed.

We had a wonderful stay in the Gabriel's room. Nice king size bed and Jacuzzi as well. The breakfast was so tasty and looked gourmet. The grounds and rooms were well cared for and the hosts were very pleasant! The surrounding area was beautiful and the location was close to some very enjoyable attractions. We came away refreshed and relaxed.

Fabulous accomodations! Actual 1790s restored manor house and the Strother Room was beautiful! Fine touches everywhere, very clean, our own fireplace, and Derrick's breakfasts were superb! Tiffany & Derrick were very friendly, personable hosts! We will be back!

We stayed in the Manor House, the larger building on the property. The historical building is beautifully restored, and our room was very clean and comfortable. The grounds are well maintained, and very scenic. Innkeepers Derrick and Tiffany were great. We'll definitely be returning!

After our daughter's wedding, my wife and I stayed here for two nights as a mini vacation before returning home to New York. We chose The Inn at Vaucluse Spring based on the overwhelmingly positive online reviews, and our visit confirmed that the high marks are all very well-deserved. Tiffany and Derrick are wonderful innkeepers, providing warm hospitality and fine accommodations amidst a relaxing scenic property. Upon arrival we were greeted with coffee and cookies, which immediately made us feel right at home. We stayed in the Stephens Room, located in the south wing of the Chumley Homeplace. We loved the country decor and the overall relaxed rustic atmosphere. The bed was very comfortable; the bathroom was spacious, and the shower's water pressure was excellent. The breakfasts were superb: delicious and filling, with great attention to detail and presentation. The scones/muffins (accompanied by a special flavored butter each day) and fruit (topped with a fresh sprig of mint!) were nice lead-ins to the main course. Overall, we thouroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended!
