Well appointed, clean, and in a great location. Quieter area on Penn campus. We could easily walk anywhere or grab the subway and leave our car put. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Valet parking only and breakfast available onsite but expensive. Glad with our choice and wouldn’t hesitate to book this hotel again.
We have stayed here a few times. Rooms are nice (although can be expensive during peak times) and the hotel is in a great location if visiting Penn. After our last stay, the hotel charged my credit card for in-room dining that we did not order, and did not appear on the bill they provided to me at check-out. After two phone calls to the hotel (with the hotel providing assurances that the hotel would refund the charge - but no apology for the error) and over 10 days later, I still don’t have a refund. We will likely be looking for a different place to stay the next time we’re in Philadelphia.
We had a wonderful two day stay. This hotel is ideally situated to access all of the great things Philadelphia has to offer with a truly upscale experience. Valet parking and hotel attendants were very courteous and helpful. The room was clean and spacious with an extra large TV and very comfortable bed.
I walked into the hotel and there appeared this handsome gentleman James, standing by. He was very helpful in answering some of my question as a first time customer at this hotel. Then, two weeks later I came back and met him again. He told us where different famous markets are around the hotel were located, such as the Reading Terminal Market. I recommend this hotel. Thank you very much!
We stayed overnight since we were helping our child move to start school. It’s a good location and it’s very beautiful. The staff are very nice too. Unfortunately, our room smelled really bad. I would have asked to switch but we were so tired after our long day that I didn’t bother. I regret that since my allergies flared, and I had a bad headache the next day. I’m not sure what the smell was either. Mold maybe? Bug spray? The ac unit? I don’t know. It was strong though. Also, other reviewers are right. Valet parking is 45 per night and higher than other places in town.
Great location. Great service. Great food. Can’t beat this place if you are visiting Penn! It’s across the street from heart of campus and has a great restaurant (Louie Louie) downstairs with an amazing and cozy bar. Shout out to Amy who was a tremendous help!
Nice hotel. Close to Wharton campus. Good amenities! Amazing breakfast. Like the hotel for staying during exec mba days. Thanks Viji for the good deal provided for Wharton crew! Louie Louie had been the favorite hangout spot for the Wharton crew in the hotel
This is a great hotel near the UPenn campus (and partially connected to the bookstore). Top Notch accomodations and excellent staff. I stay in 2-3 hotels a week and this one stands out. Well appointed and clean rooms. Even valet was on point. Highly recommend.
