We recently had our wedding at the Inn, and it was amazing. Dennis' attention to detail and hard work was phenomenal. The food we had at our wedding was excellent as well. Everyone that came had a great time. Thanks for an amazing day we'll never forget!
This is one of the most beautiful bed and breakfasts that I have been too. Dennis is so helpful and willing to share the history of the inn, and the rooms are fantastic--great bed, extremely clean, very long claw foot tub. It is lovely. If you are coming anywhere near Reading, try to reserve a room. You will love it!
My wife and I came to Reading to celebrate our wedding anniversary by attending a hockey game between our team (visiting) and the local team. When I couldn't find a preferred hotel near the arena, I searched and found The Inn at Centre Park. We do not often stay at B&B's, but the online information looked great, so I decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. Dennis, the owner, clearly has a talent for hospitality, and we would be very pleased to stay here again if we have the opportunity.
Such a charming and beautifully restored turn of the century mansion with different personalities in each room. The bed was so comfortable and the breakfast delicious. Dennis the innkeeper is very friendly and makes you feel at home away from home. Excellent experience.
My friend just got married here and I was the matron of honor. Dennis was the main contact we worked with all weekend long. Saying he was an absolute delight to work with would be an understatement. He and the staff went above and beyond helping us from the second we got there for the rehearsal all the way to helping us take down decorations. He served us a delicious breakfast the next morning and was extra accommodating about my vegetarian food preferences too. Among the absolute amazing service from Dennis and staff, the venue is absolutely gorgeous. You can get lost with all the beautiful details it has to offer. I was lucky enough to be in all 3 rooms throughout my time. The bride loved being able to get ready in beautiful Sarah’s suite and the groom and groomsmen got ready in the spacious Wilhelm suite.
Beautiful old mansion full of charm and history. Dennis, the innkeeper was beyond hospitable. He was very friendly and put on no airs. We immediately felt comfortable. Dennis was happy to show us around and chat about the history of the home. We stayed in "The Wilhelm" suite. It was huge and well appointed. We felt as though we had stepped back in time, yet it had all the modern conveniences such as comfortable bed, television, refrigerator and Keurig coffeemaker. At check-in, Dennis asked what time we would like breakfast and if we had any food allergies or diet restrictions. After a wonderful night's sleep, we showered and headed downstairs. We were offered a variety of omelet selections and juices. A platter of the most delicious fresh fruit was served while our breakfast was being prepared. Our omelets were freshly made and served with bacon, potatoes and English muffin. My husband and I agreed that it was the best breakfast ever. We will definitely be returning to Reading, Pennsylvania to stay at the Inn at Centre Park.
On our trip we stayed in Sarah's Suite and it was amazing. The bed was so comfortable and the daybed was perfect if we wanted to watch TV. It was very easy to Uber to the Santander Arena for our show. Dennis was the absolute best host who made sure that everything was great...we enjoyed breakfast so much and the morning chats 😀 If we come back to Reading we wouldn't stay anywhere else.
