We absolutely LOVE this hotel. The staff is so friendly. The free, on demand shuttle service is a game changer. We had fun riding with Ronnie. He was so knowledgeable about Aspen and gave us a free history lesson along with the ride. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The restaurant has delicious food, great drinks, and a friendly staff. For folks who hung up their skis a while ago, we actually want to come back and ski because it looks like the perfect “beginners/family/rusty” skiers run. Looking forward to our next visit and we’ll bring the kids and grandkids next time.

The Inn at Aspen was perfect! Everyone who worked there was friendly, polite, kind, helpful. The rooms are warmed well during winter without too loud of a fan, so I slept well. There is even in-floor heat! There is a nicely heated hot tub and pool, which was a lot of fun while the snow was falling down. It was so convenient to walk right outside and rent skis and take to the slopes. And above all, I really appreciated their convenient shuttle service with personal care that got me to my business meetings in town, between meeting events across town, and back to the airport timely. I plan to come back with my familiy.

Yes, you can literally just ski out of your room. We loved everything about this hotel, especially the location, the rustic charm, friendliness of staff, proximity to the airport. Beautiful cross-country paths, too. What I really appreciated was the coffee/ tea maker at the lobby, wish it would operate 24/7 and with reusable cups. Would love to return soon!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Inn. There were a lot of mixed reviews but I can say for sure that my room was clean, and my stay was smooth. I suggest requesting an updated room with hardwood floors, you must upgrade/request in advance and they will surely accommodate. Room had a big bed, microwave and fridge. For the price, it was awesome and has everything you need. Coffee/tea in the mornings and free rides to anywhere around Aspen. If you are staying here, be sure to take classes/ski at Buttermilk, the convenience of waking up and being steps from the slopes is awesome. Especially as a first time skier, this was a great way to start my trip. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Fantastic experience. Rooms had just been renovated and ours was 150%. Super comfortable, clean, convenient. Great dinner. Paz, front desk mornings, is smart and on top of things. Margo, shuttle bus driver, was professional and took care of our needs. they both were observant and exhibited stellar customer service.

This is a beautiful property very convenient to downtown Aspen. As a solo female traveler I felt very safe at this hotel. I visited just as the aspen trees were starting to turn yellow, but not peak leaf season. The property is a very comfortable layout. I had a first floor room with a door that walked out onto a patio with a view of the ski lifts. That was fantastic. However, the room had a bit of a housekeeping issue. There was some trash I assume was left behind by the last guests. The carpet had quite a few stains, and the hairdryer was the kind that attaches to the wall but it was not attached. It was very low power and did not work well. I also love a bath in the evenings, and the tub didn’t hold water, which was a disappointment. I did enjoy the provided robes. Very comfy. I was told at check in I could let them know the next morning if I wanted to opt in for a late check out (2 pm) for a $30 fee. The normal check out time is 11 am. The next morning I was told by someone different that was only an option at check in. I didn’t argue, not worth my time. The lady that gave me the wrong info the previous day was sitting right there and did not speak up. The hotel was quiet and also provided coffee in the early mornings. During my visit the restaurant didn’t open until 8 for breakfast.

First, a couple of caveats. I didn’t fully appreciate the fact that the rooms are potentially units owned by different people, so amenities, decor, issues, etc. will vary. Second, I’m not a skier and was here during the off season - really just spending an afternoon and night in Aspen on my way to Estes Park so I wasn't even going to be hiking there. So I’m probably not the typical tourist staying here. Now, with that out of the way, I will say that the Inn was a mixed bag. The young woman at check-in was really friendly, but when we asked if she could recommend any vegetarian/vegan restaurants downtown, she said no, she didn’t know of any. I just found it a bit odd, that someone at the front desk of a hotel in a resort area, wouldn’t have recommendations for the guests. It was also a bit of a red flag that they required a $200 deposit in case of damage to the room. Our room was on the first floor with a door to a patio right at the foot of the ski lifts. The room felt really run down, old, out of date, chipped and worn furniture, etc.. The bathroom door was a panel door, but the piece you pull out to close it was broken off, so you couldn’t close the bathroom door. It didn’t feel dirty exactly, but it didn’t feel clean either. A little grimy. The TV remote wasn’t working, so we called the front desk and asked for new batteries. We were told someone would bring them to use, but they never did. We finally just went down to the front desk and asked for them. As it turned out, the remote just didn’t work, but we were able to use the TV by the using the controls on the TV - old school! Lol. The best way for me to describe it, is it felt like we were staying in well-used dorm room where the students had done a lot of partying. We ended up eating dinner there, and were pleasantly surprised that they had a decent salad on the menu. But, if you don’t eat meat the smell of it bothers you, get ready. The whole hotel smells like BBQ. But dinner was pleasant enough. The shuttles to downtown were a really great amenity and the drivers we had were wonderful. Given how expensive things are in Aspen, it was a good enough choice for us, but I’m really glad it was only one night. If you’re on a budget and not there for a long stay, it’s probably fine. I’d be concerned at how rowdy things might get during the busy season - having to pay a security deposit for possible room damage indicates there’s been some wild events there. And the room definitely bore the scars. So again, a bit of a mixed bag - not terrible, but not great. Certainly not what I expected for a hotel just outside of what's supposed to be a very upscale resort town.

awful. They charged us for 2 extra nights and they said that they will return the money 60 days later. When I made the complaint to the manager, she asked me to leave the hotel, arguing that it was not her fault. That response is unacceptable. The hotel committed the mistake of withdrawing U$959 from my bank account, I mean, in cash. It wasn't with my credit card, it was with my debit card. I needed that cash because I am traveling and I’m in an other country . The manager's attention was worse, she treated us very badly. This is the manager telling me that I have to leave the hotel because I demand my money back. Horrible. nos cobraron 2 noches de mas y dicen que el dinero lo regresan 60 dias después. cuando le hice el reclamo a la gerente, esta me pidió que me fuera del hotel, argumentando que no era su culpa.
