The Imperial Hawaii Resort - Hotel in Honolulu - 205 Lewers St, USA

We are here at the moment - came to stay for my 40th birthday. My husband emailed before we came out to find out about tea/coffee e.t.c in the room. We have been here four days now and are still waiting for a reply. Also the washing machines are $3.25 and the dryers are $2.75 not the $2.50 and $2.00 advertised online, on the leaflets and in the elevators. That's the negatives out of the way....now the room is small but that is what we chose, they are clean and reasonably quiet. The welcome at reception and all of the staff are super friendly. We watched the Wednesday show in the lounge and the musician was fantastic. ABC store on ground floor stocks loads of stuff and the Dennys is great and you get 10% discount for staying at the hotel. All of the other guests seem to be friendly and polite. The hotel has a good vibe. We have yet to use the pool, it is small but adequate and there are loungers and tables. Location is fab! Close to everything!

The rooms were a little dated but overall good experience. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Also have a discount on restaurants that participate with the hotel so we saved money there too! If you have a vehicle it is pricey to park 35 dollars a day. And there is no good public parking nearby. Overall pretty good place

This was our first time using our benefits and the first resort we've visited and our first visit to Hawaii. We had an AMAZING trip and already planning our next trip! The staff is top level. Christopher, Richard, Michele - all exceptional. All truly invested in our stay. The location can't be beat!!! Although the building is a bit outdated - you will not notice because the staff is so wonderful, the building is so clean and the location is perfection. You will not be disappointed. Enjoy!!!

Incredible location! The rooms are fine, but showing their age. But everything else is great. It has a great vibe, there are loads of restaurants and shops in and around the hotel, and the beach is right there. Amazing view from the rooftop pool on the 27th floor too.

Great location in the center of Waikiki. Everything was in walking distance. The Waikiki beach was just around the corner, 1 block away, if that. The hotel was great. We were treated as members since we went through RCI. We were able to enjoy the members lounge and the members bar. It was fantastic. The hotel itself was a little dated but really it didn't make a difference. Check out the pictures that have already have been posted and they are spot on. No smells and nice and clean. |I 100% recommend this hotel. We will be back.

The staff at the reception wouldn't let my small daughter go to the restrooms because we weren't guests at the hotel. She is a small child of 4 years. We went on to the Halekulani Hotel just next to it. The staff at the reception were the sweetest people ever and even offered water to us. Shows again how appropriate reviews are, when you compare these two :)

We booked a Koa Suite for six nights. Photo on website shows a beach/water view however on checking into our room on the 8th floor - no view. A good start. Suite was comfortable, one bedroom, two bathrooms but a little dated. No noise from the street but the aircon was noisy so we just used the ceiling fan. We didn’t used the pool but it was fairly small. Gym was average, some dumbbells were missing and some of the equipment needed servicing. ABC store downstairs which was useful and the location was good for restaurants, bars and the beach. ||

Very good and relaxing one week of stay. Excellent service and friendly staff. Beach is walking distant and close to shops and mall. Nice and cozy lounge area at 26th floor with activities like lei-making and perfect fireworks view. Able to use it while we are waiting for our flight after check-out. Great place to stay.
