The Howling Rooster Restaurant & Bar - American restaurant in Buffalo - 529 Englewood Ave, USA

I have been wanting to go to the Howling Rooster 🐓 for quite some time. And I was not at all disappointed tonight with the entrees. They were wonderful and the pork and beef meatballs were an unexpected change from the typical Italian meatballs. Very tasty.

This was our first time going here and definitely won't be our last! We had dinner on the patio and the food and service was excellent! The bacon appetizer and the stuffed banana pepper appetizer were awesome and so were the salmon and ribs dinners. We got seated right away and the atmosphere was comfortable. We're looking forward to going again and trying different menu options. This is a really nice restaurant.

Went here on a Sunday when it's breakfast only. They have a great breakfast menu. Their mimosas and bloody Mary's are really good. The food is always great.

A friend and I decided to give this place a try. When we came in it seemed really nice and cozy, after a few minutes we were sat at our table, we asked our server for the spiked coffee that was on their specials menu and she let us know that there was no bartender but she was relying on her co worker to make drinks and she’d make it happen for us, we got our drinks in a timely fashion but then she never returned to our table for almost 20 minutes. Unfortunately by the time she returned to our table we knew we wouldn’t have enough time to enjoy our meal so we had to cash out, she let us know that she was behind because of there being no bartender, which I thought was odd because she told us the other server was making drinks. Everything on the menu sounded delicious and the plates that we seen go to other tables looked great too. It just didn’t seem that busy for 2 servers to not be able to handle things in a timely fashion.

First time at the Howling Rooster. It was busy on a Sunday afternoon but the wait wasn’t that long. The environment restaurant and bar are nice and looks up to date. The Crab Benny was good, but pretty basic. The crust of the crab cake has a delicious flavor. I’m willing to come back and try other items on their breakfast menu.

Went on a breakfast date! Never disappointed here. Eggs Benedict is my fav!!! Husband got the breakfast burrito!

Great food. Excellent cocktails. Lots of people having fun and laughing. First time at the Howling Rooster and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Shrimp appetizer was excellent, Fish tacos were very tasty, and the Reuben sandwich was awesome. Goid portions. A little pricey on for three folks, but the cocktails were good and the atmosphere was worth it.

We found this restaurant on Yelp and thought it sounded good. The atmosphere was relaxed with soft jazz playing, and the sliding glass door to the patio was open to allow fresh air in. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained. I requested eggs Benedict with my eggs scrambled rather than poached, and my spouse ordered the meat lover's omelet. My order was initially delivered incorrectly with the eggs poached, but our server checked back quickly and was able to get my meal fixed in a few short minutes. Overall, the food was good but not great. I appreciate being able to season food myself to some extent, but their eggs and even gravy seemed to lack the most basic of seasoning. If we were in the area, I think we'd dine here again.
