We were here for 4 nights including Christmas Eve. The hotel is super festive for the holiday and very welcoming.|You won’t find a nicer staff around. From the super convenient shuttle service to town - they will drop you off at the gondola for a day on the mountain then just call and they’ll pick you up - never more than 5 mins away. Billy and Tom were fantastic! Super helpful with restaurant recs and town insight. ||Josh and Kory at the restaurant/bar were fantastic. Josh is probably the hardest worker in town and was great to talk with. Kory was working the bar and was really friendly and even came out to the hot tub area to get drink orders from everyone. Great service and just so friendly.|The location is fantastic and only 10 min walk to town. Rooms (ours was king bed) was spacious with plenty of space and a balcony with a decent view. Bed was super comfortable. Everything was just top notch and we enjoyed our stay.
The accommodations at Hotel Telluride are very nice. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, lush towels, large hot tubs and attentive staff. They even had a Peloton bike! (but who goes on vacation to ride Peloton?). Only criticism would be with their reservation process. The Hotel uses a third party reservation agency (reservationcounter.com) whose agents cannot even pronounce "Telluride", much less explain much about the area. It would have been nice, for example, to know the extent of the business closures in Telluride during this "shoulder season". The hotel did not operate their bar, bistro or shuttle service during the week we were there. However there were still $221 in taxes and fees (40%) attached to our $564 reservation. When inquiring about the fees, the reservation company could only say, "those are the fees that are charged when you book a stay". Even the hotel at checkin said "the fees cover our shuttle but that is not running right now" and "taxes in Telluride are very high" (but nothing about how high). One thing the fees did not cover was parking, that was an extra $20 per night. Other than that we had a great week in Telluride and would definitely consider staying at Hotel Telluride again.
Some of the reviews posted did not reflect our experience. The staff at this hotel were so nice! Every single one of them were helpful and friendly. We really appreciated the fact that it is dog friendly, yet, spotlessly clean. The location could not be beat. We loved being able to walk into town and to walk our dog on the path. The rooms were so comfortable. We also loved all the extra touches like cookies, water, tea, etc. We felt the resort charge was a little steep given that this was a hotel and not a resort, but nonetheless, we would definitely return again and be very excited to stay at this lovely gem of a hotel. Thanks for a good stay!
My wife and I have stayed at the Hotel Telluride many times and our experience has always exceeded our expectations. You really get the feeling that you’re in a mountain town. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, and the food and drinks are outstanding. The staff treated our dog Maximus as if he was their own. What’s wonderful is the atmosphere that the staff creates spills over to the guests, making our stays there extremely memorable. We will always stay at this hotel every year we go back to Telluride. Thank you to the staff for creating such an amazing place to stay.
Lovely hotel! Great staff that are very helpful. |The room was a generous size and we loved the balcony. |Our puppy was with us and they were very accommodating and you can tell they love dogs. The cleaning staff even came in to clean our room during potty breaks. |The only con is the garage. It is often full and is very small. |We would definitely stay here again. It’s a short walk to downtown.
I have had an ongoing billing dispute with The Hotel Telluride for the last 3 months. I was wrongly billed $4998.65 and have gotten zero follow up or engagement from the management group of The Hotel Telluride. It has been incredibly frustrating. I am pursuing a refund via small claims court. I am very disappointed with the response from the managers of The Hotel Telluride and I have reached out directly to Providence Hospitality Partners who operate the hotel.
Beyond my poor experience trying to get my refund sorted out, I was pretty shocked with how dated and ordinary feeling the rooms were. The only thing the hotel has going for it is location if you want to be on the west side of town. Decently long walk into the town core though.
Very disappointing experience at this Hotel. The walls are extremely thin and we could hear entire conversations of the people in the room next to us. I was even woken up by the alarm clock of the room next to us at 5:30am. Then at 7:00 I was woken again because our room was right next door to an intermediary school. The soccer goal was literally 5 feet from our window and balcony. The loud yelling of the children was quite annoying. It would have been impossible to have a peaceful morning on the balcony. When we told the front desk of the noise problems, we were told, “Well there’s only so much room in the Box Canyon.” There was no sympathy of our unexpectedly early mornings in our very expensive room.
We had a highly disappointing stay and would not recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Telluride. Spend your money elsewhere.
The hotel king bed room was very spacious. The pullout bed sofa sleeper sitting cushions are so worn out, very uncomfortable. The view was nice, walked into town, icy sidewalks make it a little difficult but charming lil town. We opted to eat at the hotel West End Bistro… don’t do it, we ordered a calamari, it was so tough you couldn’t eat it, we returned it to be thrown away. My husband and I both ordered different fish and both were over cooked, tasted like cat food. We did have a nice glass of Pino Noir, we walked away spending 169.00 for what? We look forward to returning to the hotel but won’t be ordering any food from the hotel restaurant.

This was a delightful experience. The guys at the front desk were really helpful. We went in the off season so there wasnât alot of people. Since it was the off-season he waived the parking fee. In my opinion it was worth the money. We stayed a few
Absolutely loved the stay. Was awe struck when we drove up at how close it was to everything. Easy access with the shuttle to the market and the closest gondola. Also talk about good customer service, everyone was extremely professional and also seem
The best coffee in the Telluride area. I drive down to Lawson to switch up my lunch break a few times a week. Damon is the best barista and I enjoy talking to him while he concocts something delicious. Delicious coffee and pretty great prices!
Beautiful area with an awesome ghost town, great hiking trails, camping, beautiful lakes, and great views. The road up is an easier 4x4 trail. Our Jeep Grand Cherokee had no problems getting there. It's a great area to spend some time and there were
A great place to learn about the history of Telluride. Great displays and very old items from the 1800's and before. Listening stations and videos keep you interested. The lady at the desk was very friendly and knowledgeable. The museum is small but
Everything was fantastic! Tess and Annette were super sweet as they greeted me at the door and took me to my seat. I sat at the bar and both Michael and Tabitha were super attentive and knowledgeable as well as warm and welcoming. I had the Solera Ol
It was heartwarming to have a delicious bowl of ramen after a cold and tiring day on the slope!
The brisket in the hill country ramen was top notch, although the broth itself could have bolder flavor for my taste.
The service was super friendly and
LOVED IT!! Patio seating only, the birds are cool company & will finish what you don't.
Spinach Roll was absolutely delicious!!
Shepards Salad was good but I felt a little too much mustard in the dressing & it almost took away from it.
Hummus was goo
Lovely restaurant experience in a cozy space with super friendly and attentive staff. Food was very thoughtfully crafted, well presented, tasty and high quality. We loved that they have a separate vegetarian menu (with a whole vegan section).

New Years day, 2018, Esperanza's was busy. Esperanza and all of the employees were practically running to take care of their customers. My family and I were greeted and seated almost immediately. The staff was friendly and the food was well seasoned
