What a wonderful experience at this amazing hotel! Built in 1903, this place just oozes history and we had so much fun exploring the lobby and the WW2 exhibit. The restaurant was fantastic and the icing on the cake was the mirror bar! Great vibes and awesome drinks. If you're visiting Alexandria this is the place to stay.
Beautiful historic building. The rooms self are fine: clean, comfortable bed and spacious enough. The water pressure on the third floor was a bit low. I've had better showers. But overall, a good hotel for one or two nights business trip.
Parking is on the side of the building. (You can ignore all the parking restrictions signs). And the food at the restaurant downstairs is amazing.
Great location for a wedding, breakfast or just a road trip! Hotel Bentley of Alexandria was amazing and the staff was super friendly. Brunch the next morning was like a dream! Very filling and great price. We ended up parking in the lot next to the Holiday Inn next door. There’s plenty of parking nearby as well. Have a great trip!
Grew up in this city but never had a chance to actually visit this hotel during the 90s. Our stay here was different (in a good way). Not your typical modern day hotel experience but definitely a memorable one. The room was nice, the bed was great! The atmosphere here is great, there’s no one following you around asking can they help you… lol
There’s lots to see within this hotel alone even if there’s nothing much in Alex to see. We also visited the restaurant for brunch and it was awesome as well. Parking is free. The one thing I really like about this hotel is the character of it and that it’s not super bright in the hallways like most hotels. It almost has this “I might be haunted” feel when roaming around the different parts and rooms it has to offer.
Overall…. My stay was great! The food was great! The room was great! 5 starts from me in this one.
Stayed here for a family event. The exterior and the lobby are very historic. The bar and party room were nice. However, the rooms are in need of some serious work. The layouts are unusual and it feels like they just took an array of furniture and placed it in each room. The beds are not comfortable and generally the room just felt like it wasn't very clean.
We stayed a Tuesday night in The Hotel Bentley. I've been excited about the stay because of the hotel's historical significance. It's true, the architecture and other echoes of Bentley's former glory are quite evident! The first of which are the flight of stairs to get into the main entrance! Definitely an inconvenience if you have several bags, but the dramatic effect was impactful.
Once you step into the lobby, you're transported back in time. A stone fountain greets you, beautiful banners hanging from the ceiling, art decor touches everywhere. The details are really breathtaking.
We booked the larger king room. By any standards, the room is modest but very clean and accommodating. No high-tech luxuries, but we were more interested in comfort and charm.
The Hotel Bentley also has a museum area displaying historical artifacts from the hotel's past as well as a tribute area to WWII. Moving and engaging.
And for dinner out, the Diamond Grill is a very short walk from the hotel as well.
We enjoyed our stay. Comfortable, clean, charming.
If I could give 20 stars I would. This is an absolutely beautiful and historic hotel with a lot of history. Everything from the food to the service is exceptional. Staff is friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable and room was nice and clean and very chilled for the hot summer. I could spend weeks here. Thank you Martha and the staff for an amazing unforgettable time in this historic hotel
I stayed at this hotel while in town for my uncles wedding. The check in / out was great. The hotel is very dated, but I already knew that when I booked the room. I’m very much into history and interior design, therefore, I thoroughly enjoyed the first floor of the hotel. The antique furniture, museum like atmosphere, and endless amount of intricate detailing was nice. I honestly didn’t have anything bad to say UNTIL I went downstairs for the hotels infamous brunch. I was definitely discriminated against because of the color of my skin. I was told that I couldn’t eat there because I didn’t have a reservation. Mind you, I was a guest at the hotel. A paying guest. Not to mention, there were SEVERAL empty tables. So, to the young ladies that greeted me in the restaurant on the morning of July 30th…shame on you all. I know Alexandria is a backwards small city, but that doesn’t mean I deserved to be treated the way I was treated. My money is green just like the next person and it spends the same.

The check in process was easy and the staff was nice and very welcoming and made me feel like being a Hilton Honors was a compliment.
The room was very clean and smelled great. The internet worked seamless and the TV had plenty of working channnels
The first room, the TV, didn't work. The second room that they gave us the fridge didn't work, and we lost some food. Other than those problems, the stay was great, and the staff was terrific. I like LA Quinta.
I LOVED this place! Staff is so friendly and treat you like family! If you needed anything, you can call and they would resolve whatever problem you are encountering ( within their control) they have an AMAZING breakfast hall and the pool was beautif
I've been wanting to go since I first heard about this place! I was not disappointed! It was super fun, pretty spooky, and the puzzles were JUST the right level of difficult. I was afraid it would either be too easy or too difficult, but it was exact
1st time in this establishment. Was greeted with a smile and bubbly personality. Our waitress was great. She continued to check on us even though she was busy. I did ask how our lunch arrived before the appetizer, she apologized and brought it to us.

Amazing place and awesome historical importance. This is a must go to place to learn of history. Strongly recommend paying for a guided tour. Stepping into this place is like stepping into history. A must stop for anyone visiting Louisiana!
Stopped while my car was getting new tires down the street. The place was quiet and the waiter/host greeted me at the door.
Looking at the menu I decided on the chicken chettinad as well as some garlic naan (thatâs what pushed the price slightly ov

This place was amazing! Traveling through on our way somewhere else, but worth a stop! Everything came out fresh and hot. The pork is done wonderfully (especially the summer rolls). I had the shaking beef and I couldnât get enough. If you live here
The BEST restaurant in Alexandria. We will definitely take the drive just to eat here again. There was a staffing shortage when we visited, but it was handled so gracefully that you don't even notice. We felt so welcomed, like we were eating dinner w
