The Homestead Cottages - Log cabins in Canyon Lake - 595 Charter Oak Dr, USA

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful stay in the Tiny Texas House. The house was extremely clean, the hot tub and hammock were great to hang out in, and the bed was super comfortable. It feels like you’re out in the country, but it’s also close to everything you want to go to. Justin, the owner, was also very responsive and great with whatever questions or issues we had. We had a great time and hope to go back soon!

I booked with Homestead Cottages for the first time for my birthday and they did not disappoint. When my husband and I arrived, the hot tub was clean and warm, the studio cabin was clean and organized. A full refrigerator, outside grill, convection top, coffee maker, satellite television, nice comfortable couch, not to mention the cold air conditioning, glass shower with waterfall head and a nice comfortable bed, covers and pillows. We will definitely be booking again.

We stayed in the Tiny Texas house. We needed a break from it all and this place was perfect! The bed was so comfortable as was the whole place. It was charming, cozy, and romantic. It was so quiet and private. We will definitely be back!

I have always loved log cabins, but I believe this is the first authentic log cabin I have stayed in. I enjoyed the picture album describing how it was built. | We were celebrating 51 years of marriage and this was perfect!! We enjoyed sipping wine around the fire pit talking about the past and the future. | The hot tub was clean and private and ready for us to relax and unwind. The back deck was perfect for watching the sunsets not to mention the deer that frequently walked past. | We had a light rain our first morning. The deck was a perfect place to drink our morning coffee and watch the rain.| I neglected to mention we had everything we needed including coffee pot with coffee and filters. They provided dishes, pots, pans, silverware and cooking utensils. The small pantry included coffee cups, drinking glasses, wine glasses as well as salt and pepper and a few spices. Plenty of washcloths and towels for showers and visits to the hot tub, shampoo, conditioner, bath soap and hairdryer. They even provided firewood and matches for the fire pit. There was nothing we were lacking.| This little Cedar Cabin was just what we were looking for. Thank you for a wonderful place to unwind and relax.

My husband and I spent 5 nights at the Montview Cottage to celebrate our 25th anniversary. It was the perfect size, actually a little larger than I was expecting. The cottage was very clean and well-maintained. It got a little chilly outside, but the heaters kept the cottage nice and warm. The hot tub was a real treat, very private and comfortable. The grill had plenty of fuel and the small kitchen was functional with provided dishes, pot and utensils. Though the bathroom is small, the shower was quite large. The king sized bed was extremely comfortable. All in all, it was perfect for a relaxing few days away from it all and I am so happy that we chose this place.

Just got back from a very relaxing, cozy, and wonderful weekend at the Cedar Cabin. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Relaxing on the back porch with the hot tub watching the wildlife was just what we were looking for. This cabin was very private, situation at the end of the road. Coffee and hot tea in the morning sitting outside was a great way to start the day and a fire in the fire pit was just the way to end the day. We highly recommend these cabins and plan on making a return trip. Thanks Justin, for a great experience!!

Love this place. Small but cozy house for a couple or small family. Kitchen equipped with all the stuff you need. Bedroom is huge with a comfortable mattress and pillows. A/C works well. Jacuzzi and hammock in the backyard but we did not have a chance to use them. So close to Lowe's grocery store, CVS. Really enjoyed our short stay over the weekend. Highly recommend booking this Montview cottage.

Where do I start? My wife and I stayed here for our 25th Anniversary. We have stayed at a LOT of different destinations over these 25 years and this one is hands down the best. The cabin is very attractive, cozy and private. It is equipped with everything that you could possibly want. The hot tub is awesome, the kitchen is well equipped, everything is very clean and tidy. Deer literally strolled right up to the feeder by the back porch the whole time that we were there. The minute that we unpacked all of our stress melted away. The only negative that I can even think of was having to leave! We will definitely be back for all future anniversaries and any other reason that we can think of to come here!
