Homestead is wonderful! We had the pleasure to stay here during the summer of 2023 on a family vacation. The room was fresh, clean and updated. The owners did a fantastic job renovating and were a pleasure talking too. Wineries are right down the road and it is not far from the center of town. I highly recommend staying here plus It was nice getting away from chain hotels.

10 A beautiful hidden gem! Wow, this place is truly a hidden gem! I am so happy to have found it. The safety and cleanliness here are top-notch, and the organization is impressive. The owner, Micheal, is so welcoming and it's comforting to know that he and his family live nearby. The surroundings are absolutely stunning, and the peacefulness of this place is unmatched. It's the perfect combination of being tucked away from the busy city life, but still easily accessible from the main roads that lead to the breathtaking mountains of Colorado. I couldn't have asked for a better place to relax and unwind.

PERFECT! Everything about The Homestead was wonderful! The rooms were clean and nicely furnished with many well thought out amenities. The location is great - easy access to Palisade and surrounding areas as well as close to hiking and surrounded by beauty. The Service was top notch. They made me feel welcome and like a long-time friend. I travel a lot for business and stay at many places. The Homestead is one my top favorites! So grateful for The Homestead family and their accommodations.

I have now stayed at The Homestead three times and I cannot say enough good things about it. The rooms are so clean and comfortable and the decor is modern and lovely! The beds are comfortable and each room has a little patio out back with really great views of the mountains. We were lucky enough to be there during a massive storm and we sat outside and watched it, it was incredible to watch the lightning agains the mountain backdrop! The room has a full coffee maker which was really nice and they even supply little ice makers in each room and a mini fridge. |I like that it’s a “little” out of town but please keep in mind this town is SMALL, a “little” out of town is like a mile or two, it’s not a big deal! |The owners, Mike and Cody shelve put their hearts and souls into this place and it shows. They are so kind and accommodating and just cannot do enough for you to make your stay perfect! She even left some peaches for us in our room when we told her we didn’t have a peach yet, they are amazing! |They are also very dog friendly which was important to me, they welcomed my dogs and didn’t have any issue at all and they charge a fair price for the dogs which I appreciated so much!! Also as a woman traveling alone I want to point out that one stay was just me and I felt totally safe and that means a lot to me when traveling! Check this place out, they are wonderful!!

My (now) wife and I stayed at the Homestead on our wedding weekend due to the close proximity to our wedding venue. We rented out all 6 units for our wedding party and had a great time. The rooms were clean and comfortable. While cozy in size, they had virtually every amenity you could need. The owners, Michael and Cody, live on-site and were welcoming and accommodating to us throughout our stay. The views are spectacular and the location is just far enough out of town to feel remote and private. I can't wait to see what the property looks like once the landscaping is complete!

We stopped here for a night in the middle of a 2 week camping/road trip. We usually book a dog friendly hotel just for a warm shower and comfy bed before heading back into the wilderness. We were incredibly pleasantly surprised by this hotel! It has updated and very nice fixtures, comfortable bed, clean rooms and a ton of in room amenities such as a real coffee maker, coffee that's isn't a little packet and all the fixings, ice maker, microwave, cups, plates, bowls, silverware and enough to make a small meal such as can opener and knife with cutting board. There is an adorable little patio out back with dividers between rooms for privacy on the patio, the grass seed was recently planted when we stayed, so no lawn yet, but it was growing in nicely. There is a community fire pit and gazebo in front too. The owners/operators, Mike and Cody, a husband and wife team, were incredibly friendly and we chatted with them both. They're very down to earth and they have put a ton of work into the place and are maintaining it incredibly well, and you can tell they truly care! Highly recommend! P.S. our dogs liked it too!

For us this was the perfect location for wine tasting. Wineries and food close by. The owners have spent a lot of time and attention to detail on the completely remodeled rooms. Our room was spotless, well decorated and the color scheme was cheerful. The bed was comfy, the amenities were great! Nice to see "real" coffee and no K cups! They are working diligently on getting the outside of this property landscaped and I have no doubt it will be amazing! Although there was no breakfast, it was like a B&B in that it was so cute and there are only 6 rooms. Quaint and friendly. We will definitely be back and stay here.........and taste more wine of course! Thank you for the hospitality!

The Homestead was a perfect location for us to stay as it was right across from where we got married. The owners were extremely accommodating, had wonderful communication, and were very helpful. The rooms were cute, and had everything we needed. We booked all the rooms for our family and friends to use, and we had zero issues. They have a gorgeous backyard and locations to relax in with beautiful views. I would stay here again!

Spoke and Vine was recommended to me by one of my colleagues. Don’t let the motel name scare you because it honestly did not feel like a motel. The rooms were clean and crisp and fully renovated. Breakfast in bed was such a treat. You can also get

Not very busy for Veterans Day weekend. Many yellow leaves still. Only one loop open. Next to the river. Plenty of space between campsites. Near i70 and train but noise is not a bother inside camper.
