If you like a quiet, quaint hotel with historic charm, you'll love the Holly Inn. The location is excellent for walking to local eating spots. The staff is friendly and helpful. The main restaurant is excellent. The bar is good for watching golf or a game with a few friends. ||As it is a historic property the floors are a bit sloped in places, the rooms can have a quirky layout, and other things that won't bother most people. The heat and AC work great.||The bathrooms are well appointed, though I do not think I saw a robe. The towels are fresh. The hot water takes a minute but is plentiful. ||In the bedroom, it's a standard hotel bedroom. The furniture is a bit dated but still just fine. If you've read other reviews about the mattress quality - it's probably not as bad as they say but it's also not 5-star bedding. ||On the whole, this is a normal 4-star type hotel. It's a small step up from a Hilton or Marriott but you're not staying at a 5-star hotel either, which is fine as that's not really what they are advertising.
You really feel like your in 1895 again. That's the only reason for 4 star room review. But if you like nostalgia you'll give it 5. Best service ever. Best location ever. Everything you need is around you .
I wish i could give a bonus star. This place is awesome. The hotel was rustic and quaint. Depsite being over 100 years old it was well maintained. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The bathroom also had plenty of room. Ive stayed in several older hotels and this was by far the best experience. The water was HOT. The water pressure was good and the drains all worked well. Last but not least, service was TOP NOTCH. Staff was friendly and helpful could not ask for more.
Very old hotel that has been updated as best possible. The room was fine. The bed was very small, but for the room size, I guess appropriate, would not want to have to have double occupancy in these beds.
Such a wonderful and historic inn. People are friendly and we preferred staying here to the main property with all the rich decor.
Amazing place to stay. The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful, would highly recommend the holly if visiting Pinehurst.
Exceptional service and food at 1895. Chef Mitch and his staff go above and beyond. Definitely recommend.
Pool was closed in April?? I get that locals think 80s is cold but you're catering to tourists. That was a disappointment. The rooms are spacious and adequately air conditioned. The beds were very comfy. Great view, romantic, kid friendly, and high tech are the exact opposite of what you'll experience here. The Holly has a very "days of yore" feel. Fortunately that is all my group of golfers needed.
The service staff was excellent and were willing to help you whenever you need them. Overall I would recommend it for golfers looking to check off an item on their bucket list. Bring deep pockets $$$.
Decent hotel. Hallways looked to be in need of an update but the room looked great. Pretty clean. Comfortable bed. A/C has the constant fan option which I prefer. Water pressure and temperature in the shower was great. Staff was super friendly and he
If youâre in Pinehurst for a visit, this quaint coffee shop is a must visit on any tourists list. Their seasonal coffee menu begs you to experience something fun + different. The classics are good too, but the team takes pride in creating new + fun
Beautiful place to take a walk. I went here with my mother and 2 boys. You can make the walk short or long which is always nice. My mom is handicap so sometimes we just take a short stroll but the scenery is always interesting and well kept.
My kiddo has loved this splash pad since he was a baby, has different areas for big and small kids and you can sit on the brick walls to watch! Tons of fun especially for a free activity!
Nice little park in town with plenty of benches to sit and watch everything go by. I went for the farmers market they had going on that afternoon. There were about a dozen different vendors seelling bake goods, soap, fresh vegetables and fruit and
The food was amazing, steak you could cut through like butter and every bite just as flavorful as the first. Our server was great I think his name was James, a young guy. We had outdoor seating and it was so private and relaxing. We will definitely b
Amazing food and service! I was blown away by how delicious this food was. The staff were so nice and overall it was a wonderful experience. I canât wait to go back!
1st visit, really nice location. Setting was pretty surreal with the history and sitting right off the green. Parking was easy. Service was top notch. And food and drinks were good. Prices were reasonable.
Impressively managed store and staff. I want to say for a "young" generation the employees seemed to genuinely care about the service and quality of the coffee and food served. I spoke with Layla or Kayla (can't remember the name) the store manager a
This is the best Mexican Iâve ever had! Itâs flavorful, fast, and the salsa is delicious! The staff are also on it and the food comes out quickly. The portions are also amazing!
