The Hollow Bistro & Brew - Bistro in Clarence - 10641 Main St, USA

Nice family owned bistro.Went here for my anniversary in this place did not disappoint. My wife is vegan and they had multiple great options. We started off with the vegan arancini which was like a fusion of Italian and Asian in particular reminded me of sushi rice. Then I had a wonton soup that had nice firm wontons that were pretty well sized. My wife had a vegan pasta that was made with cauliflower but had a Alfredo type consistency and she was thoroughly pleased. Had the hollow burger with the egg on a pretzel bun which was a good burger but was absolutely filling. Highly recommend trying this place out

We ordered the appetizer special which didnt wow us. I had the drink special which i really liked. My husband got the Gin Gin and the Ahi Tuna entree, both were fantastic! I loved the chicken milanese. Went here at 7pm on Saturday night. About 80% of tables were occupied and several people at the bar. The seating was more relaxed for what we thought was a more upscale dining experience.

The food was delicious, especially the sweet chili cauliflower! The presentation and the atmosphere were wonderful. They do, however, claim on their menu that many of their dishes can be adjusted so that they're vegan/vegetarian/allergy free and that turned out not to be true, unfortunately. I tried to have a few dishes adjusted to be dairy free and was told by our server that they couldn't do that because the dishes "are pre-made". That's definitely not what they claim online or on their menu.

What a gem! Wonderful atmosphere! Great for a date, friends, or family. Clean! Comforting music, quiet dining. Staff very professional and friendly! Esp. loved how they shared local food sources and cooking methods when asked. Our table of four was greatly pleased, well-served and food was delicious!

We have a memorial gathering to celebrate my mother's life in a private room at the Hollow Bistro and we are so happy we had our event there! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The waiters were attentive without being intrusive (a difficult balance to strike). All the staff were very professional and easy to work with. I especially appreciated the event coordinator who sent many emails back and forth with me and was very kind, courteous, prompt in all her communication with me prior to the event. We will definitely consider this place for future family gatherings. I highly recommend this restaurant for private events!

The service was amazing and the entrees were presented perfectly. The entrees were delicious, but the calamari was very bland. It tasted like fried flour. We’ll be back, but not for the calamari.

This is my first restaurant review. I had the most amazing Shrimp and Pumpkin Risotto. We have been regular customers but tonight was absolutely perfect. Jeff M

My wife and I eat here all the time never disappointed in anything we get!! Great servers (ask for Elizabeth,) but you can’t go wrong with anybody, you get! very talented, chef, and wonderful family owned restaurant!
