The Holland Hotel - American restaurant in Holland - 61 N Main St, USA

French onion was not as good as other places. There are no rings of onions. Instead, they seemed to chopped and the broth seemed to have a touch of sweetness to it. The inside was done in a nice comfortable atmosphere. The bar area was very nice as well. The hot turkey sandwich was thin slices of turkey, but the mashed potatoes were good.

Brought my girlfriend here on a date today 01/27/2024 at 5:30pm. Parking lot was full but the bar restaurant wasn't packed by any means. We couldn't sit at the bar but we were seated at a close table right near the bar. We were told someone from the bar will come serve us. We sat there for 35 minutes, patiently, we both even used the restroom, and still no service or acknowledgement. My girlfriend finally got up to speak to a hostess and the hostess rudely told her that we just have to wait otherwise walk up to the bar and wait for bartenders attention. There was no room to squeeze into bar and we were originally told we'd be approached at our table. Holland Hotel is such a beautiful place and that why I picked it for an amazing date night but after 45 minutes with no service we just got up and left with menus just laying on the table. I expected so much more than this treatment from this place. A place I've always drove by and said one day I'll get in there to have an absolute great time. Truly disappointed and heart broken after today!

Great place great food. Loaded fries were some of the best I've ever had. French onion was ok, on the sweet side. Great staff

1/7/2024- Drinks were tasty, during the bills game but around 9 o'clock pm we asked for food menu and they closed kitchen. Figured they tell us before they close kitchen but unfortunately we didn't know. I'm sure the food is good here... Maybe next time 🤦🤷 we all went else where for food

The food and atmosphere were great, but our server was not attentive. She seemed annoyed and frazzled, and it wasn't busy. Then we went to bar to get drinks and glasses because we waited so long, and the bartender was rude also! Bad service!! Except for the service, I would of given 5 stars.

Nice spot in Holland. Food was great and service was very friendly. They had Specials to offer, along with a good amount of everyday items. It was a Nice quick drive from Emory Park where we came from. Would make for a good spot to watch the Bills too.

Went here for dinner and a couple beers! The bartender found out we had just been married the day prior and bought us our first drinks! She was great, friendly, quick and attentive! The food was great, i had the wings. The atmosphere was warm. Loved everything about it and will definitely be back!

Had a run in with the nasty owner Megan. I began to give her my credit card to hold a reservation and she said she will not take responsibility for my credit card. I travel all over the world and have never heard of a hotel not taking a credit card to guarantee a room. I also heard her bashing me over the telephone with one of her colleagues and she did not have the decency of covering the mouth piece of the phone. She is rude, arrogant and a racist! The place is dirty. They kept the music at the bar loud while the guests were in the room. Sadly, we were there for a wedding and because of another wedding, my family had no choice but to stay there and be tortured the entire weekend. I caution anyone wanting to stay at this horrendous place at any time. Megan—you need some class and you need to treat all paying customers with courtesy! And clean that dump, please!
