I had lunch there for the 1st time recently and really enjoyed it. The food was delicious and reasonably priced (in today's world). All of the staff was very friendly & accommodating. It's an old building, so the inside definitely reflects that, but there is a great bar and outdoor seating out back, right on the water. My only complaint was the parking, or lack thereof.
Food was good and tasty. I was trying to decide between the mahi sandwich and the mahi Philly and the waitress told me to go with the Philly. It was so so good. I definitely recommend. Its peaceful atmosphere, friendly service and great location along the water add to the tasty food.
This is our favorite spot in Jensen! Great water views. Chill atmosphere. Full selection of German beers. Favorite menu items include the pretzel with beer cheese, Bavarian goulash, and chicken schnitzel.
FIDO Friendly! This little spot on the water is a gem. We stopped by this restaurant on the way back from the beach with our dog. They have a great patio on the water. Rachel, our server, was very nice and the service was great. We ordered the schnitzel (pork), and it was large enough to share between two people, it came with potato salad, cabbage and a mushroom gravy. All of the food was delicious. The schnitzel was perfectly cooked and tender. We also ordered the medium pretzel with the beer cheese sauce and it was very good. They even prepared a burger patty for my dog. I would highly recommend this restaurant when visiting Jensen Beach.
We sat ourselves at a table outside and waited for awhile to get service. After about 10 min we waved down someone to clear the table and take our order. Once we got service everything was great. All the food was delicious, from the potato pancakes to the goulash. I’d love to go again to try the schnitzel and apple strudel.
Food was excellent! Service started off really slow for how not busy it was. Would definitely go again! The Jager Schnitzel and Potato Pancakes were awesome! The “Bavarian” pretzel was a basic soft pretzel. The pretzel game should be upped. There are definitely way better options!! Beer cheese was good and they gave you plenty for dipping!
The food was very good! This staff was a little slow. French fries weren't the best.
