Very cool, American style bar with a great service and pleasant atmosphere. Surprisingly, the place serves alcohol and was full of underage kids, that, or obeying the law, and enjoying their dinner by themselves, or with their parents.
I was very pleased to accept that trust, and enjoy that pleasant service provided by Maria.
All the food that we’ve ordered, was done, just as we requested – not over fried, flavored, and met the needs of dining. Three appetizers, fish and chips and arugula salad accompanied with two beers each made this Friday eve a pleasant evening to enjoy.
First time at this place, and for sure, with the excellent service received, this will not be the last visit here.
Firstly, The service was absolutely perfect. These people care about their job...they bring extra ranch over to you on a plate. Second, the drinks are fantastic and very very well done. Third...the food...curry first?! What a unique experience. Lastly..how this place manages to be a bar and a totally upscale dining area is beyond me. They did a great job. Would be thrilled if someone wanted to head here over anywhere else in the island.
Hobnob was such a pleasant surprise for my entire family. We had family visiting from SoCal and they suggested we have brunch at Hobnob - and what a treat it was. First off, the food is AMAZING. If you like spicy chicken sandwich, this is the place to go. The service was incredible and super attentive and the atmosphere was relaxing and simply enjoyable. We will be coming back - you can count on that.
After at pleasant experience, it always takes longer to write a review. Because you never know where to start from. It started with a really good welcoming. A young smiling gentleman took us to our table. Nice comfortable chairs. After ordering, the food comes about in 15-20 minutes. Nice presentation, delicious. My chicken was overcooked, too spicy, fries were good but the salad was little on salty side, our mistake. Next time when we go there, we are going to tell them how we want our food. On Fridays they have karaoke, we did not know that, after dinner we stayed a little bit longer and enjoyed it also. Fun! Fun! Fun!. The employees and the customers were extremely friendly. Especially Mario (I think he was a customer also, check out the photos I took with the guitar) was very kind. I highly recommend this place, peaceful clean, family friendly. We are definitely going there again.
Went here for lunch, and ordered the fish & chips, brie burger, and beignets. To substitute meat patty with Beyond Meat is an +$2, which I think is a bit of a stretch. The food is good, but not that good for the price.
Brunch here was a great way to start a Sunday. Maria kept our glasses filled. Pleasant spot, I'll be back.
I enjoyed eating the spinach arugula salad with added fried chicken breast. Healthy dish. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and put effort into positive dining experience. My friends ate Fish and chips, eggs benedict, and other breakfast items. Next time I want to try the brunch menu items. I'll come back very soon.
So yummy! She said it was the best spinach salad she ever had. The baked truffle mac n cheese was rich and delightful. And Steph Curry fries were delicious snacking too. Plus local beers on tap. A delight of a place.
Amazing food, drinks and service. We randomly saw their sign outside with their specials on it and went in to grab the desert they were serving. We ended up ordering dinner and drinks as well. The server was amazing, offering to let us try a drink be
I was eating across the street and noticed Pinball Museum sign. I'm always very curious, so I walked in and was blown away.
More than what I imagined. Cashier explained everything in detail and broke down pricing and gave me a brief description and
Very unique old school video arcade located in Alameda's busiest commercial district. Pay for unlimited plays for a certain amount of time.
Decent selection of games range from the oldies like centipede and Pac-Man and Tron up to somewhere more mode
Hidden gem in Alameda! Or maybe itâs not a hidden gem, and everyone knows this place. Regardless, all the dishes that we ordered were really good.
- Basil fried rice (super fragrant)
- BBQ lemongrass pork ribs (fall off the bone tender)
- Stuffed c
Great variety of local beers on tap ranging from juicy IPAs to malt-forward stouts, all made with Admiral Maltings' malted grain. They even had local whiskies made with their malts, (will have to try those next time), and they offer tours of their fa
My partner and I stopped in here for a light dinner. We had a few cocktails and tried the charcuterie board and Margarita flatbread pizza. We really enjoyed everything we tried and had an amazing night. We will definitely be coming back here for date
The drip coffee was bold and had good flavor. My wife liked her matcha latte. We also had an Ube Mochi cake which was amazing. The staff were friendly and quick. Iâll be coming back here.
Small but full of engaging exhibit. Marc, the volunteer outside greeting and welcoming guests, was friendly & shared his knowledge of the area & the wildlife that live in it. We visited with our 2 kids on a Saturday afternoon and was able to see the
When I moved here from San Diego 2 years ago, I took a short walk and found this spot. Within moments, I was served by a great lady. Within 5 more minutes, I called her back over, introduced myself, and told her that I'd just moved here and that thi
Nice and cool area with the breeze from the bay air. Perfect place for large and small dogs. Pretty bustling on the weekends with so many pups playing. There's always a trashcan within and reach to drop off the dookies.
