The Historic Browning Guest House - Hotel in Lee's Summit - 202 SW 3rd St, USA

My wife and I had a fantastic time here at the Historic Browning bed and breakfast! Not only is it perfectly located next to downtown Lee’s Summit, but the spacious house and rooms also feel like a getaway. We had a swell time exploring the many shops, restaurants, bars, and live music locations within walking distance downtown. Had great food for dinner downtown, but nothing compared to the breakfast that Cynthia made for us in the morning. Hands down some of the best eggs and pancakes I have ever had, she made everything with care and thought. All the flavors complimented one another and everything was so fresh. Wonderful fruit and the most amazing parfait. We definitely fell in love with the house and location, but will absolutely be returning because of Cynthia and Kevin. They were incredible hosts, very helpful with downtown recommendations, and again the breakfast, you can’t find a better breakfast!

My husband and I stayed here last night and it was our first experience at a bed and breakfast. The location was easy to find and it was within walking distance of downtown (also lots of parking if you don't want to walk). We were greeted by Cynthia and Kevin and they took us on a tour of the house as well as some history from the house. We then were taken to our room which was the King bedroom and it was incredible. The bed was so comfortable and everything was amazing. There was a coffee and tea station as well as a variety of drinks in the mini fridge by the room that was very convenient. Didn't think it could get much better...Until breakfast... I am a VERY picky eater so I was a little nervous and I can with 100% certainty say that it was the best breakfast I have ever had. Cynthia is an outstanding cook and everything was incredible. We cannot recommend this location enough and we plan on making this beautiful location a frequent get away for the two of us.

Had a great 3 day weekend for my best friends birthday. Cynthia and Kevin are terrific hosts who really made our stay special. Cynthia's passion for feeding people comes through in every meal, from breakfast each morning to the personalized charcuterie board for our game night. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The location is so handy to walk to many shops, bar/restaurants and events. We had a Jazz Festival less than a block away!

We only had the pleasure of staying one evening but Cynthia and Kevin were incredible. Their home is beautiful, the location perfect for where we planned to venture to on our stay. We enjoyed an incredible breakfast prepared by Cynthia along with great conversation! We loved getting to know them and cannot wait to come back and stay in the future!

My wife and I stayed here overnight for my her birthday. Kevin and Cynthia are such cool people. Cynthia is an AMAZING chef and makes a great breakfast. Kevin has some great stories and very witty jokes. The house was like being in a movie. What I pictured an Air B and B to be. It is so close to down town Lees Summit. Lees Summit has so much to go experience and when we were there, they had an Art Walk going on.

We stayed in the Queen room for 3 nights in February. It was our first time at a B&B and we are so glad we stayed here. Our room was everything we needed, and the food was phenomenal! We loved having our breakfast catered to our tastes and even some of the sweet little extras that made it memorable, like an apple tart and chocolate torte. Cynthia and Kevin were warm and welcoming. We especially enjoyed sharing adventures and stories over breakfast. "Weir everywhere!" We know without a doubt that we will be back for future visits and we have encouraged our area friends to try a group dinner for a taste of perfection. Thank you Cynthia and Kevin!

We stayed two nights during the Lees Summit Downtown Days. We had a booth there. The location was perfect and the home was beautiful. Cynthia and Kevin went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed! Will definitely stay again next year. Cynthia’s cooking is better than ANY gourmet restaurant!

Amazing breakfast! Best parfait i ever had. Great eggs benedict. Even came with dessert. Room was really nice and bed was very comfortable. Hosts were very gracious and friendly. 1 minute walk to downtown. Great place to stay!
