Great location for waking in downtown Deland and only a few mins drive to the wedding venues nearby where we got married.||Dustin the bar manager was incredible and so flexible staying open for our wedding after party until after midnight and making great drinks. He managed to do this with very short notice due to miscommunication, so we Thank you very much!||Rooms are beautifully designed and have bright fresh interior and furniture.|Shower heads need to be cleaned better, our friends in the large suite said the same.||Communication in general over the last year of booking this hotel for our wedding party was always a little challenging, but I know they have gone through management changes and everyone has always been pleasant. But I do think they will succeed more with clearer channels of communication with guest and staff.||Overall though I highly recommended this beautiful hotel.
I stayed at The Artisan Downtown Deland for Stetson's spring football game. It happened to be Delandapalooza weekend as well. The service & experience could not have been better! I was greeted by a warm friendly smile literally EVERY time I walked through the hotel! My room was exceptionally clean with a great view. Chicas Cuban Cuisine downstairs has great cafe con leche as well!
Incredible! The hotel is over 100 years old but you would only know it by the hardwood floors and historic decor. It's updated in the right places, super clean and personable staff. We'll be back.
Stayed here on 3 occasions, and each room was nicely appointed, clean and well priced. The Cuban restaurant is fantastic, and the service throughout the hotel exceptional. Located in the heart of downtown Deland’s shopping and dining district, this is the place to stay to enjoy all that Deland and surrounding areas have to offer. Bike riding down Woodland Boulevard and through the Stetson campus and charming surrounding neighborhoods is nice and close to blue springs state park for kayaking, canoeing paddle boarding, and fishing.
What a pleasant experience! This quaint boutique hotel was perfect for our mid-week, one night, short stay. It was clean and tastefully decorated for the holidays. We were distressed that we couldn’t stay longer!
We were on the 2nd floor and had a standard room with 2 comfortable queen beds, chocolates on the pillows and bottled water and snacks in the room. All of these little attentions to detail, were not missed and definitely appreciated. Unfortunately, the view was of a new apartment building under construction right next door. Literally, within arms reach. Shame on you, the committee that approved this. But the lack of view would not deter us from returning.
There is a bar/lounge downstairs and we were fortunate enough to be there for open mic night where locals come to entertain. What a nice surprise! We were told they have karaoke night and music on the weekends. Please check hotel for details.
There is also a restaurant downstairs, Chicas Cuban Cafe but our schedule did not allow us to fit in a meal there. I can tell you whatever they were preparing for breakfast smelled awesome!
We had the best breakfast at Doug & Lil’s Potato Patch, a great lunch at BakeChop and delicious dinner at The Table.
Deland is a historic town, beautifully decorated for the holidays with plenty of things to do, in town and surrounding areas, over a long weekend.
We are looking forward to returning!
Very cozy, comfortable and convenient hotel. This is an old building that has been remodeled and is full of charm. They really did an awesome job. The price is not cheap but I feel we got our monies worth. The lounge downstairs is very convenient. We did awkwardly wait for over 10 minutes without even a passing glance from the blonde behind the bar, only to give up when a large group of young people came in that she knew and immediately started to serve. Fortunately more venues were close enough to walk to so we didn't' miss out much. Chica's located downstairs has great Latin food and some of the best coffee I have had. All and all, if we are ever in the area again we would be glad to stay here.
Very nice hotel. Great service. Restaurant was not open but the lounge serves great drinks. Clean, friendly and we'll run. I would recommend anyone stay here. DeLand is close to many springs, wildlife areas and parks. Not much downtown life on a Tuesday, but we managed to find some. The Hyderhead Brewery is very close and has great craft beers, knowledgeable staff and relaxed atmosphere.
Beautiful hotel, with metal keys and cute rooms. I wish I could put a 4.5, the hotel smelled like a pizzeria probably from the restaurant below, which wasn’t bad, just interesting because we smelled like it after we left. Thankfully I asked about the outside entrance because we almost didn’t get the code to get in from the hours of 9p-9a. The bed was a little soft and we kept rolling into each other and the sun came in bright once it was up. The bathroom had a vent (awesome!) so it felt like we were in a cute apartment. Definitley planning on coming back!

The bar is amazing. They need to update their hot water system. When you wake up, turn the hot water on and go for a jog around the block. It might be hot when you get back. ð
Comfortable place for the money on a high occupancy Daytona Turkey Run weekend. The queen beds were nice and clean. The couch with a fold out futon was great for additional sleeping guests. Continental breakfast was hot and included excellent choices
So much fun for for a 10th birthday party! When you book a party, you get the whole space to yourself for 2 hours. Communication was excellent leading up to the party and the awesome owner Kelsey was on-site to assist. The common area is really coo

This is where I eat when in DeLand. Ribs, pork chops, meatloaf are all excellent. Prices are reasonable especially considering the portions. People there are friendly and welcoming. Do yourself a favor and eat here. You will not regret it.
I fell in love with frozen custard almost 10 years ago and I get SO excited when I find a custard (instead of an ice cream) shop! Iâve gone to whits more times than Iâd like to admit over the last year since I moved back to the area and I always
Santorini is a GEM. The service, food, and atmosphere are wonderful. After strolling around downtown Deland, and visiting the great shops, we enjoyed a delightful meal.
We ordered their whole fish special, and it was delicate and light. The roaste
Best place to watch stetson play ball. Clean concessions and even cleaner bathrooms. Seats are far enough apart to have enough space for taller people.
