I'll start with the positives. I called the front desk multiple times before my stay and the woman who answered was always friendly and helpful. I really like the self-check in process as we didn't arrive until 10:30pm and it was nice to go straight to our room. As far as the room itself, upon entering it smelled really musty. It was what I would call surface clean, not filthy but not amazingly clean either. Its bare bones, which is fine considering the rate is reasonable. It has a fridge and microwave, they give towels and washcloths, and a shampoo/conditioner. There was a mousetrap in the room and that was a little bit of a turn off. And lastly, we reserved a room with two Queen beds but the beds were definitely not Queen sized. They were Full size beds (barely). If you just need a quick stay with one or two people and you don't want to spend a lot of money this place will do the trick if you don't mind it not being more than a 1 star motel.
Exceptionally helpful and friendly! Rooms are simple and clean. Very close to the military base so I stay here often. It's really nice to have my car so close. Has everything including a freezer (important for breastfeeding Mom's). Good lighting outside at night.
Prior to arrival I received a code for the electronic lock on the door to my room. We arrived after 4:30 and tried to get into the room but had some trouble. We entered the motel office to seek help but there was no one to be found. There were instructions to ring a bell (we did) make a video call through the tablet that was set up, (we did) text (I did) or call., which I did not. I did receive a text back providing assistance. Soon thereafter assistance arrived, and the lock entry code was reprogrammed, and we were able to enter our room.||The room is a typical motel style with no frills. There was a good-sized refrigerator with a freezer compartment and a microwave, a table, a bed, a chair, and a desk. The bathroom is very small with no counter space to even put a small toiletry bag. |I was really turned off when I found a glue trap behind the tv stand. Glue traps are inhumane. If a rodent is trapped, why would I want to listen to it cry out in distress? Also, it would be an inconvenience to have to call to have it removed if a critter was trapped because I would not be removing it myself.||We were there for one night, it served its purpose, and the price was very affordable.
Got there and was forced to register online to get in the room which requires giving them a pic of your ID, not a fan of that. No attendant on site. Had to wait for a half hour or so before we got help getting in to our room and when the attendant showed up she was very abrasive. The room was tiny with a tiny TV and in poor condition. The wifi was very bad and disconnected completely around 9pm. The water smelled like sulfur. All in all it was a horrible experience and I recommend finding some place else.
We had a nice stay. But all beware. The facility has changed ownership since then. They are Now one of the nations greedy AirB&B owners trying to charge max rates for minimum efforts. I have personally tried to contact the new owners on a number of occasions and you are taking your chances here. Best of luck to you.
I really like the motel for the price! This motel is one of those drive up motels so you get a parking spot right near the room and there’s plenty of parking. The front desk lady is friendly and helpful. But be aware that they will take your card number even if you book on a third party site. It was a convenient check in that’s done virtually. The receptionist sends you a link. You upload your info, I’d, and card number on your phone. She replies with your room code. So you don’t have to worry about physically checking. It’s so much more convenient that way. I love that I can also text the front desk questions. The room appeared to be clean and had no pests or smells. It was small but not uncomfortably so. It was a reasonable rate. It had a fridge, microwave, desk, 2 chairs, and a tv. The tv was a smart tv that you can stream on instead of the fossils at other motels. The fridge/freezer worked well enough but the freezer wasn’t cold enough to freeze my smoothie. The bed was pretty firm but bearable. The bathroom was clean and stocked. There was an ac in the unit. The temp was comfortable despite it being the summer. There were several outlets. There was no mirror in the room but there is one over the bathroom sink. The rooms have doors adjoined to the neighboring guest’s rooms. These were closed the entire time and I assumed they are locked. The walls are thin and we could hear the tv of the guests next to us. I felt safe outside the property. There were no sketchy people around the hotel or anyone causing trouble. They even have a little patch of grass behind the motel you can walk on with a picnic table. There aren’t any stores/businesses in walking distance so it’s very quiet. The only downside is they said they have complimentary water, coffee, and snacks. There are no snacks. They do have free water and coffee in the lobby. But the coffee (or maybe the powdered creamer?) was gross and we couldn’t drink it. So I suggest not using creamer. I’d suggest they add snacks or a light continental breakfast like prepackaged bagels, muffins, pastries, and rolls since there are no businesses in walking distance. If they add a continental breakfast and a shelf stable liquid creamer then the motel would be perfect. It was still a good place for the price though.
This is a nice place to stay for a very good price. It's not sketchy at all, even though it looks like it could be. The windows open to the back where you get a nice view of a calm forest. It's clean and feels safe. The only negative thing was the water smelled kind of metallic, but that wasn't a huge issue. Check in and check out was seamless and done through text messages.
Basic, but great! Very cute road-side motel, well-maintained and welcoming. We arrived late but knew we'd be greeted in-person. (The option for self check-in was good to have, given our timing.) Staff were friendly and helpful, both when we arrived and when I called several hours after departure the next morning, in hopes of finding a last hat. The room was spotless and surprisingly well-appointed. My husband loved having a freezer with ice right in the room.
Hidden gem for sure. The food was very good. Everything had a lot of flavor. I ordered off menu and they accommodated perfectly (Arroz con pollo: chicken rice and cheese). Husband got pastor tacos. Meat was seasoned, beans were delicious. Fresh chips
One of the best Taco Bells around. Always clean on the inside, staff is actually very excellent both inside and through the drive through. Really haven't seen as personable or generally pleasant people working in a fast food restaurant. And it's taco
