Well, my experience at this resort was quite as expected. The most disappointing aspect was that upon arrival, I was required to pay for parking/valet upfront for the entire stay, which totaled about $150. This charge was unexpected. Additionally, the rooms are not cleaned on a daily basis, unless you specifically request it. There are no phones in the rooms, so any time you need something, you have to take the elevator down to the lobby, which is quite a hassle. I’ve never encountered this before. When I requested my room to be cleaned, I noticed that they didn’t even change the sheets or clean the bathroom. The sink faucet was still dirty, and I had to clean it myself. There was also mold in the shower corners. I definitely will not stay here again. On the positive side, the staff is very friendly, and the view and location are beautiful. However, the hotel itself is not worth the money, especially when they don’t even clean the rooms properly.

I was really hesitant to book this resort because of the mixed reviews but I also know that everyone has a different experience at different places. I would say this is one of the nicest places we have been at. This is based on price, location, service, the experience and memories we created this past weekend. Upon arrival the check in process was extra easy also I did like the valet parking charged at the beginning of the stay just for convenience it’s nice to know it’s already taken care of. The rooms are so nice and upgraded. In regards to the room the only thing I did not like was the floor being a little dirty I do think they could have been better cleaned the rest was awesome. It does have a restaurant on site and even though it doesn’t have a big menu what they offered was nicely made and the service was top level. Overall this was a great experience for us and hopefully we can come back soon.

Wow! Wow! Wow! This place is amazing! This place makes you feel like a million bucks for a great price! The staff are all amazing each one we encountered spoke to us with kindness and respect. Front desk staff Jeannie and Allison were great made us feel so safe and comfortable offered to hold our bags really great hospitality service got there super early from our flight and they were able to get us checked in early they both deserve a raise! The beach attendant was super nice and carried our chairs to and from the beach. The room was spotless and upon entering a lovely note and some goodies were left for us really great housekeeping staff! The view was speechless! We ate at the restaurant 3 times it was great every time! Would highly recommend to anyone. Definitely made our honeymoon one to remember forever! Thank you Sonder❤️

Sonder was more than expected. We purchased the ocean view suite and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel was clean with the exception of sand (which is expected for a beach hotel), suite was clean as well and gives ample space to accommodate 4 persons and has microwave and small fridge. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The view was great. The stairs are right next to the elevator for your convenience when you don’t want to wait for elevator. There is plenty seating by the restaurant/beach to enjoy the view and breeze. The ice machine is on the 4th and 6th floor. I will definitely be back

My family and I stayed here for 3 nights for my husband’s work. One night during the week, we came back from dinner and our room door was ajar. I know for a fact we made sure it was closed securely, so the “Privacy Please” sign on the door was just there to make us feel better. The mandatory valet charges you the $25/night ahead of time & asks for a tip before they have even done any work. While there were some nice individuals doing the job, the overwhelming majority were incompetent and operated as though they had indeed received tips ahead of time and no longer cared about service. Our car was left running several times and the parking arrangements were convoluted. We requested an hour later check out on Friday morning because an important meeting popped up that he couldn’t miss, but he would be able to be back to the hotel room by noon. This was denied. I personally went down to explain the situation (I am pregnant and have a child under 1 year old) given that I would have to haul the entire contents of the room & my infant downstairs on my own and sit for an hour. I was told that because we had waited (had not known ahead of time about the meeting) until Friday morning, there was nothing she could do. Take that as you will, but we won’t be staying here again. Customer service was worse than I’ve seen anywhere else.

Everything was so beautiful I loved the pool the beach and the fact that you could just walk to the beach. The studio felt really small. I would try a bigger space next time. Service was excellent. Food was really pricey but you can order from other places. Wish the room had plates and an iron. Love that they provided beach chairs and umbrellas!

My stay at this hotel exceeded all expectations! First and foremost, I want to extend a huge thank you to the manager, Jeannie. Jeannie was always ready to help and answer any questions, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The location of the hotel is simply fantastic – right on the beach! It's the perfect spot for those who love waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying the ocean breeze. The hotel staff also deserves the highest praise. Everyone was incredibly polite and attentive, always willing to assist with any request. Amazing pool, deep enough and surrounded by comfortable loungers, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind. Overall, this hotel offers top-notch service and amenities. I can't wait to come back again. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

The property considering the price was ok. Other than the front desk person there are not any staff to interact with. On my second day I got a bunch of bumps all over my body. It looked like bed bugs bite. I asked the staff to move us to another room since my son still did not get any bites. I was going to take all our clothes to an industrial dryer to kill any bed bugs and spray our suitcases. We travel a lot and I have been in a hotel before where they found bed bugs and they took care of everything and offered to move us and reimburse for the stay. The front desk person at this hotel called the manager who was not on site and asked if we could be moved, and the manager said no because they didn’t want to contaminate another room. This was the second day of a 10 night stay. So they gave us this contaminated room and then would not move us. I decided to move to another hotel taking all the precautions to disinfect everything we had with us so we don’t take it to the second hotel. I asked to speak with manager at Sonders. She would not speak with me and said she would contact me the next day. Which would be too late. Either way she did not call. Additionally I asked to be refunded for the entire stay and only received reimbursement for the days we did not stay there. Terrible experience at a hotel that does not value its customers.
