Great spot for dinner if you’re eating late. One of the few that opens till 11pm. Everything was good well but nothing jumped out. We had the Halibut Ceviche, Country streak and Sweet Potato Kale Salad with Salmon.
The appetizers were good. We had Cauliflower Elote, Nachos and Calamari. For main course we had Salmon, Captains platter and fish and chips; which were all below average. All fried food was too oily and inedible. Salmon wasn't worth the price.
It was a very long wait for service on a Thursday night. Took over ten minutes to get water. Another ten plus minutes to get asked about drinks. Another ten before we could order food. We got a basic cheeseburger with fries and fried cod tacos. The cheeseburger was fine, the fries were over salted. The cod was amazing, fresh and crisp. But incredibly bland somehow even with two kinds of sauces on it. It was like all the seasoning ended up in the fries with none on the tacos.
I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. The food was good, and the service was good, but... worth $100? 😬 Maybe it's just me, and maybe I'm just not used to food prices in Alaska, but this was, to me, a $50-60 meal(in total) at best. I'm giving 4 stars based off the friendly wait staff and the fact that everything was right, and that we were taken care of in a reasonable time frame. But isn't that kind of like a base line anyway? Side note: We were gifted with the opportunity to watch Bob Ross while we waited on our food. I kind of need to drill down a little... I asked myself if I got the same experience in a more formal setting would it have been an appropriate price? I have to say no on that. Had the food been more flavorful I think I would have been more pleased. It had no pop. No pizzaz. It was just okay for me. In fact, I'd say my chili was the star of the show. But does that chili make up for the other $40 in value for this meal? I'm afraid not. I hate to say it but this stop simply didn't do it for me at this price point.
Service : We went for dinner on a Wednesday evening. There was a 30 minute wait (we were told it's due to the cruise ships arriving the same day). The staff seemed very friendly and made us feel welcomed Food : We ordered the cauliflower elotes for an appetizer (very yum!) and the Halibut Olympia (was very well made). I thought the food was good and decent portions, but it's way too pricey!
This place is decent but they have next to none vegan options. I wouldn’t suggest any vegans to go here if you are hungry. They served me a kale salad and the only other option was a hummus plate. The hummus was sour and the color was so off. I would please like to suggest the owners to include vegan options. It’s 2023 and restaurants should be more inclusive in these times. People have different allergies and dietary restrictions and it’s good to include everyone. Vegans are trying to reverse climate change this will ensure the glaciers in Alaska don’t drift further away. The least you can do it have some food options for us please.
The reason I gave 3.5 stars is because the food is super pricey for the quality and quantity. We ordered appetizers - cauliflower elitos and crab cakes. Both were amazing and tasty. Cauliflower Elitos were tasty and spicy. The mains were very expensive got the taste and quantity. Ordered veg pasta which barely had any veggies and Alfredo sauce was OK. The chicken skewers were OK but too expensive for $50. I will order appetizers but not mains here .
The Alfredo pasta with vegetables of all things was surprisingly good here. Not what you would expect to find in an Alaskan restaurant, but executed well. Lots of variety on the menu, if you have a picky eater traveling with you, they’ll be sure to find something on this menu. Great service, tasty food.

During my recent visit to this breakfast spot in Seward, Alaska, I was absolutely blown away by the stunning views and unique atmosphere of that place. The coffee was simply amazing and the cute souvenir shop was a nice touch. However, I was a bit di
Best decision of the trip. This experience was amazing and the gold star tickets are well worth the cost. I'll be honest I spent 70% of the train ride on the balcony. The photos are just 20 of over 150 taken on the train ride.
Beautiful views all around. You will pass through the Chugach Forest if you're driving down south to Seward. Watch out for Moose ð« crossing the roads. Maintain your distance if you stop for photos as moose are known to charge if you're too close.
Absolutely incredible food. Delicious, came out hot and quickly. So happy we found this place for a cold winter day! We got the chicken mash, mac n cheese and quesadilla special. 100/10. Highly recommend!!
Stopped at the Mudd Hutt for breakfast before driving back to Anchorage. The service was prompt and friendly- and the breakfast sandwiches were great! They also treated us to some home made donuts they were trying for their menu- bonus! A great place
Absolutely wonderful hike! Got about 850-950 ft up the mountain and took the pics posted. Could see all the way to south end bay. Good hiking shoes needed if wet as there are some elevation changes and some water crossings. None are difficult yet th
My 7 year Olds favorite playground out of three visited. Lots to play with and challenge movement and imagination. Also has a skate park for the older kids and a great walking path for adults.
