Great place to go shopping or walk around and look at all the taxidermy animals. The selection of items is incredible.
Went to get a picture with Santa Claus with my 5 year-old granddaughter. After the picture, she loved going through the store and looking at the animals and aquarium. She also saw a couple things she wanted for Christmas. Was enjoyable
An absolutely perfect place to shop & eat. The variety of stores, restaurants, movie theater makes shopping easy. Plenty of parking, easy access in & out of stores & an excellent road system with plenty of traffic lights. Well worth the trip.
NOTE: This is an outdoor shopping center. All store entrances enter from the outside, there is NOT an "indoor mall" element here. The Highland's is spread out over dozens & dozens of acres, fyi. Lots of shopping venues.
Great variety of stores, but the roads to get from one location to the next is horrific. The planners were either high or sleeping when they mapped out the grounds. A redo is much needed.
The highlands is a fantastic place with tons of shops and restaurants and STUFF. Valley Harley Davidson moved to this area which has added to the great shopping already here. If you've never been here you have to stop by and check it all out. Bring your appetite tons of food here.
All the cool restaurants and big box stores in one area. Menards has to he the best hardware and limber store around. Cabella's has a neat aquarium of US fresh water fish. And lots of taxidermy animals from all over the world on display. Sheetz gas and coffee in the area nearby, as is Coldstone creamery ice cream. What more do you need?
The Highlands is a good shopping area complete with a movie theater and wellness center. There are your standard "strip mall" shops like TJ Maxx, Petco, Bath & Body Works, and TMobile, amongst others. Plus, there are bigger stores like Cabelas, Target, Walmart, Menards, Best Buy, JC Penney, and Hobby Lobby. Several doctors' offices, restaurants, and hotels lie within the relatively small acreage. The only thing missing is a classic "drug store" you can run in to get medicine or a 12 pack of soda. I always seem to spend more time in Target, and gas stations like Sheetz are too expensive for those purchases. Overall, there is a multitude of shopping in a small space, and I think it's a strong economic contribution to the Wheeling area.
Our absolute favorite restaurant locally. Love the intimate, homey feel where the owner, head chef, and servers treat you like family. They truly care and are doing it because they have a passion for what they are serving you. The prices are more th
WOW, how have we missed this place traveling thur for years? Note: Everyone must be 21 to enter even to eat only due to gambling. Tip in cash only. Otherwise, credit cards are accepted. Terri was working the bar for food & drinks. The food was fres
1st time eating there and was not disappointed! We ordered 2 appetizers, the mozzarella sticks with marinara and the everything pretzel bites with the garlic herb cream cheese. The 4 mozzarella sticks were huge and the marinara sauce is the best I've
