I accidentally booked our room for the night before our intended stay and didn't notice until the reservation had technically passed. They absolutely would have been justified in telling me I was out of luck but they hooked us up with a room on the right night anyway. The area has limited availability and they helped us out anyway. So grateful for their kindness and hospitality! This is the kind of small business worth supporting. Beautiful, comfortable accommodations with great service.
We stayed nice and warm on a cold Weekend on the Oregon coast. Each room had a little space heater that was more than sufficient. We had the room with our own bathroom which was nice. The 2nd night, there was an issue with the hot water not working, but the quickly fixed the issue. They were willing to work around our very late arrival and was more and welcoming. As a tea lover, I was happy to see 2 drawers full of tea options to choose from. Had homemade quiche and french toast for breakfasts there. We could see the ocean from our rooms. Only complaint were that the pillows were a little flat for my liking, but nothing a rolled towel couldnt fix. Would recommend
We are going to leave this morning after two nights and it is going to be actually a tad sad. Not only did it feel like we were home at my mum's (the ways this is true are too many to count) we were made to feel incredibly comfy by the proprietor, Cheryl. The entire craftsman house is perfectly adorned with antiques and heart felt warmth in a modern Victorian flavor. The stories in the room's guest book speak for themselves. There are three rooms upstairs, but we had the large downstairs room, accessed by a long hallway, bath on the right. Private patio area outside, large King bed, telly and DVD (all the movies you could possibly wish for in the hallway), gas fireplace, antique furniture and delights in every corner, nook and cranny. Top it off with a large bathroom, double sinks, full tub, super, lovely shower. Right now all today's tenants are in the kitchen swapping stories, who knew we would meet someone who knew Juanita from Sonoma thirty years ago here? You can NOT go wrong in Cheryl's care.
We stayed one night on our travels down the coast. With this being the cusp of winter, we were the only guests for the night. We appreciated the quiet, the convenience of walking to a restaurant, and after dinner we relaxed in the living room to have a sip of the wine we brought and read our books. In the morning, Miles (the owner's son who is now helping to run the B&B) served a delicious french toast breakfast that was artfully arranged and absolutely yummy. We enjoyed visiting with him, and visiting with the owner the previous evening. ||||Would we stay again? Yes, definitely. We had selected the Angel room, which worked out fine. But next time I think we'd stay in the Sea Breeze Room - upstairs, next to Angel room. There's more space to move around, plus the ensuite bath. We thought the room prices were quite reasonable, not "overpriced" as one previous reviewer mentioned. It's all in your perspective and expectations, I guess.
Had a wonderful stay here on a road trip down the coast. Miles and his mother did an excellent job making us feel welcome and giving us great recommendations on dining options of the town. The rooms are spacious and clean, and breakfast the next morning was awesome
We stay here every year on our trip up the Oregon coast. The house is charming and comfortable, and Cheryl is a great host. We enjoy the breakfasts, at a common table with other guests. Location is quiet and yet close to town. We will be back.
We initially booked three nights but decided to stay an additional night. We stayed in the Maybeck room. This room is spacious and very cozy/comfy. It has its own private entrance and garden/patio and feels like home! The owners are very pleasant and friendly and we'll definitely stay at the South Coast Inn again if we stop in Brookings in the future.
They were very accommodating with late night arrival. Wonderful homemade breakfasts were the highlight of my day! Room was warm and cozy for our November stay. Enough hot water for showers for everyone.

Today was my first time going here, and at first I blew right past it on my bike. I stopped, turned around and thought "hm, this place looks kinda cute. I'll give it a shot." The interior was lovely, the drink I got was delicious too! I can find myse
A very charming store and haven for nerds! The shopâs got some very cool stuff, including handmade 8-bit wall decor, drawings by the owner, dice, cards, figurines. I picked up a cute pair of Grogu earrings. Owner is a very friendly guy who let me b
Best rock fishing trip we've been on. The crew was EXCELLENT! They were always on hand to assist if needed. Everyone was very laid back and very fun to spend the day with. They were always changing spots so we could locate as many fish as possible.
Absolute hidden gem. Love this place. So full of character and clear passion for what they do. Amazing beer, great service, super fun location. If you're a nerd and/or beer fan, this is a must see.
Made multiple stops throughout the park and thoroughly enjoyed each one of them. Some have moderate hikes so be mindful of what youâre getting yourself into. What goes down must come back up. We canât wait to come back and see more!
Might just be the most beautiful hike on the Oregon Coast. The views make you think you're in New Zealand or Ireland. Then you get to the end and you feel like you're just standing at the edge of the world.
Saw very few people on a warm December wee
