We have been dealing with cooling issues for months now and have had several people come look at the system with not much change and more frustration. Steven was very kind and got the job done super quick and easy. Very respectful of the space, very pleasant to talk to and interact with. The air is already running drastically better and it’s only the first hour of having it installed. It was also done so fast, i could hardly believe they got everything replaced so quickly. So appreciative of their work and just an overall super pleasant experience.

I contacted them when my home air conditioner broke down. They offered the lowest rate for an emergency checkup and scheduled the appointment for the afternoon. However, shortly after booking, the technician arrived without any prior notice. I had to call their office to verify his identity since he had no identification or company labels. Here are some points from my experience: 1. Without asking any questions, the technician began opening the attic door. I had to stop him and direct him to the controller unit. 2. After I pointed out the controller unit and mentioned the icing problem I observed, he barely inspected it and immediately asked for the location of the outdoor unit. 3. He checked the refrigerant level at the outdoor unit and claimed he needed to add 2 lbs of R32 refrigerant, even though the unit clearly stated it uses R410A. 4. He then provided a full quote with five different charges: * Minimum service charge: $135 * Cost for 2 lbs of R32 refrigerant: $130 per pound * Charge for transporting the refrigerant from the van to the outdoor unit and waiting until the top-up was complete * Charge for a mysterious particle to be added with the refrigerant to detect leaks that can occur after we top-up * Sales tax on all of the above 5. The total quote was nearly $500, and the technician became increasingly arrogant when I asked questions, providing no reasonable explanations. 6. I called their office to inquire about this, and their response was that R32 is a superior refrigerant, and the quote was accurate. 7. When I declined their service, they claimed that the initial emergency visit quote did not include sales tax for the "service," and I had to pay an additional amount for the inspection, including tax. Overall, they treated me like an uninformed customer who could be exploited with a low initial quote.

Steven B. and his partner were both polite, skilled, and did a great job installing a new AC unit in our sunroom. In a world where customer service is no longer valued in most places, it was refreshing to see a remnant of what used to be.
