Such a great experience at HC, perfect blend between modern and classic American flavors. There’s a cool and contemporary ambiance, with sleek decor, industrial-chic design elements, and dimly lit interior gave the restaurant a trendy yet inviting vibe. It’s the kind of place where you can unwind with friends over great food and drinks or enjoy a romantic dinner. The menu had several options for all of us. The steak options are a highlight, showcasing the chef’s mastery in preparing a juicy and perfectly seasoned cut of meat. I opted for the Ribeye, and it was cooked to perfection, with a delightful char on the outside and a tender, juicy center. It truly satisfied my craving for a classic steak. The beet salad was great and I would go back just to have the corn bisque again. So good!! The service was friendly and attentive. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations for both food and drinks. Overall great dining experience, you should definitely check it out.

Noah at HC made our date night evening fabulous! Everything he recommended was delicious. We started with the Lobster-cargot and it was to die for. The espresso martini was the best I’ve had. My husband has the ribeye and said it was great. I had the crab cakes and they were the best a crab cake can get not being in a coastal area. The ambience was so relaxing as well. Will be returning !

I think this might be my new favorite restaurant. Everyone was so nice and it's beautiful inside. The crab cakes were the best I've had at a non coastal place. I didn't try my companions meals but they all raved about it. Our waiter was Ken and he was so great, personable, funny, gave great recommendations. I look forward to going back soon

1st timer and this place is beautiful! A while vibe for any occasion!! I absolutely wood, metal and dark finishes in this restaurant. It was a little busy but The staff was very polite upon arrival. Heaven was a dream. Sweet, patient and very knowledgeable of the restaurant as well as the menu! To drink I ordered a Woodford reserve with the “Good” cherries and iykyk! Thank you Hc tavern for standing out! To eat I ordered the grilled Cesar salad as an appetizer, which to my surprise was really good minus the biscuits. For my entree I ordered the “Sweet Tea Fried chicken” and 1 crab cake. The chicken was interesting because it was a mix of dark and white meat which if your anything like me is one or thee other personally. It was cooked & seasoned well, a little spicy but good. The honey helped. The mashed potatoes were good and I was not a fan of the coleslaw which I normally love. Overall 7/10. The crab cake was a definite 10/10, Nice size, really meaty, fresh and taste was phenomenal! For one person I spent $100 with tip. “Tip your servers.” Overall good experience Thank you Hc Tavern & Kitchen

Wow! A group of girlfriends and I came in this past Sunday to the Rhythm & Brunch. It was so much fun!!! What a fun vibe! Aimee B. was our server and she was EXCELLENT!!! She was super thoughtful and knowledgeable. The live DJ was awesome!! We all enjoyed the lobster cargot, delice board, cinnamon roll, and pimento cheese fritters. Amazing!!! Chef Michael stopped out to check on us. What a nice touch!!! All of us girls loved our entrees and we got down on mimosas the whole time…..hello! With beer juice! Such an amazing experience!

Pretty place, execution for this price point disappointing. Several things went sideways… grilled lettuce was different (smokey and limp), ugly presentation and not creative. The steak was overcooked MW, not M or MR, and then replaced with rare. Although they attempted to comp, the total bill added both steaks to the tip, basically added another meal to the ticket. So the bill was slick…and shady. They do not want to participate in Devour Indy.

this quickly became one of my favorite spots as i went 3 times within 4 days! the atmosphere is great, it's beautiful inside, the service is wonderful, staff is so kind & friendly, and THE FOOD is soo delicious! their cocktail choices are also great! definitely my new go-to spot!

I went to HC's Restaurant & Tavern for the first time to celebrate my birthday with a couple of friends. I made reservations, and upon my arrival I was greeted with a smile 😃 which is always nice! My server was very nice and informative of the menu items. I went with the shrimp dumplings for my appetizer and the 8oz fillet mignon with horseradish mashed potatoes. Both were chef's kiss! Atmosphere was great. Overall experience was great!
