The Haywood El Dorado, Tapestry Collection by Hilton - Hotel in El Dorado - 210 S Washington Ave, USA

Great hotel right in downtown! There are many restaurants within walking distance and a coffee shop on the corner. Rooms are nice and include unique finishes. Breakfast was better than expected and included. Only complaint is that the shower door was missing the seal and let water out on the floor. I reported this and nothing was done nor was there any followup.

First the building is very stylish. The interior is sophisticated and upscale. Front desk ladies were so nice and welcoming. We had a double queen room and it was very clean and smelled very fresh. Absolutely loved the bathroom and shower. Though the shower head was a bit too high for a short person like me lol it had nice water pressure. Our room got a bit of noise at times. Not sure if our room was near the housekeeping area but quite a bit of banging at times. |Beds are very firm and uncomfortable for me but I’m sure it would be hard to please every sleeper. Pillows were wonderful and fluffy. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely stay again

We planned a quick weekend trip to visit El Dorado and have dinner at Abe's Old Feed House nearby. The dinner at Abe's was excellent, even on a hectic Saturday night; unfortunately, our stay at the Haywood wasn't as positive. The hotel is very nice, and the location is excellent for visiting the sites around downtown El Dorado. The room was clean, as was the rest of the hotel. However, the mattress in our King room was uncomfortable (too hard), and the amenities need to be improved. There is no place to charge a phone without moving the bedside table, for example, the pool was closed "for cleaning" on a hot weekend when it would have been nice to cool off in. Their outdoor plants in pots were wilted and dying from lack of water. Just some attention to the details would make this a genuinely five-star hotel.

I really enjoyed my birthday gathering here and it turned out to be such a wonderful night the people who work there help me to celebrate my birthday and it was so much fun they even gave me different varieties of cheesecakes as a birthday surprise and they were delicious every single bite 😋. I love the different styles of drinks that they offer. Now the price is a little bit much for the drinks but they are pretty good and different if you like liquor.

All other favorable comments about this hotel I totally agree with. But I wanted to give a shoutout to the efficiency of the hotel staff dealing with a frustrating. On July 19, when we went to check in, we were told that the IT problem had affected all their computer systems and they couldn't check us in or provide us with keys. Dealing with a lobby full of frustrated guests, the staff could not have been better. The continually tried to work on the problem and after several hours were able for Hilton to reset all their techs. Tavekia Cook, the ASST general manager, and desk staff Anna and Brittany are to be commended for their going above and beyond their normal duties to solve the problems as soon as possible. The actions of these employees during a very trying time will cause me to continue to stay at the Haywood. They should be applauded for their efforts.

This is a great hotel. VERY clean! The staff is so friendly. The outdoor area by the p pool is so relaxing. I highly recommend staying here. This was my third visit and I never disappoints. Close to the MAD and an easy walk to the square. As a native of El Dorado I’m proud that it’s here.

Best hotel in El Dorado, with great amenities. Our room was clean with a great shower to boot. Also had in room refrigerator and microwave. The bar was great, with great bar food. Stay here you won’t regret it! Downtown El Dorado has a lot to offer

This being our third stay since opening, we were hoping for improvements but we're sadly disappointed. Front desk staff on all shifts were more concerned about Facebook posts, tictoc , FaceTime and social media than to look up and greet customers. No smiles, no acknowledgement, no greeting, nothing. In the morning, desk girl spends her time in the kitchen, letting the desk phone ring off the hook repeatedly. Breakfast clerk was non existent. Thirty minutes after opening, no breakfast. An hour after opening, there was enough for four guests. An hour later, everything was stripped and no breakfast clerk to be found. Meanwhile, different arriving employees were grabbing cereal, milk, juice, coffee and what little hot breakfast available. A very sad reflection on management, training and pride of job. Same front desk employees parked in handicapped parking spaces just as they have in previous visits. |This property has much potential but not with current FOH staff. |Otherwise, clean rooms and great staff in bar/ night kitchen.
