Located at an intersection between Goffle Road and Wagaraw Road, forming a triangle, my partner and I had lunch at the Hawthorne Diner as first-timers. Upon entering, the interior was small and simple, but it had plenty of booths as well as a bar and was clean. There were a few tables in the back where we sat promptly. Their menu had everything one wanted or needed at a typical Jersey diner. There were plenty of breakfast choices, as well as wraps, sandwiches, and dinner options. We decided on something light and went for the broccoli cheddar potato skins and 1/2 tuna fish sandwich combo with salad. Good food is served in a timely fashion and at a decent price. Our server was friendly and attentive. We can recommend this place.

Ordered the “Big Daddy Breakfast”(Steak, scrambled eggs, home fries and pancakes) and fried calamari. The Fried calamari was probably the worst i ever had. The home fries were mushy with no flavor even with me putting lots of salt and pepper on it. The eggs had no flavor either. The pancakes were alright and the steak was the only DECENT thing i had. The customer service is amazing though. Overall, i would rather get food from the 7/11 across the street in all honesty. Spend your money elsewhere.

We moved to the area recently, and we got a coupon of $25 off when we spend $50 or more. So we came to try it out, hoping to find a nice restaurant to bring family and friends. I ordered ribeye steak, it was plain, less than average. You can also tell that the salad wasn’t fresh. When we presented a digital photo of the coupon, they didn’t owner it. Despite the fact that they can scan the code like any other restaurant does nowadays. Plus, the code had our name with our address. Plus the coupon didn’t mention that we have to bring the actual paper. We asked for the manager, and he was very rude not wanting to do anything to help. This restaurant is not worth it in my opinion. Go spend your money somewhere else.

Very nice diner with friendly service. Food was good (we had breakfast). Nicely decorated and seems family oriented. One thing...on the bill there was an "Operating Charge" of $1.17. I don't know what that was for. We paid cash and I didn't bother asking what it was as we don't live near here and probably won't be back too soon. Seems like just another gimmic to rip off the public.

I've been to this diner several times now and the consistency is appreciated. Good food, served in a timely fashion, at a decent price, by friendly staff that check in and aren't overbearing. There's a simple comfort that I've come to expect when I stop in and this spot provides in ways I count on.

They did not disappoint me. I ordered breakfast this morning. grilled chicken omelette with mushrooms, avocado and spinach. I asked to not include cheese and they did not add cheese which was great. I asked for ketchup with my home fries and they put it on the home fries instead of giving me packs of ketchup which is great because some restaurants just throw catch up packs in your bag ( which i dislike) instead of putting it on your home fries. I ordered a side of grits ( they were not too stiff and not too "soupy") and the platter came with wheat toast. food was good. it was delivered with grubhub and i have no complaints!. this will be my go-to diner when I want to order breakfast from home :-) oh the toast was not toasted too hard or too soft it was perfect!. excuse the quality of my camera lol.

The worst food you can ever see in New Jersey. The rice, me and my husband ordered ordered were hard as a rock. I cannot understand how can they serve like this. Will never go there again. The server Linda was amazing and kind.

Ample parking to the side of the street dedicated for the place. I love the decor outside. When we got there the place is almost full and we are greated by lovely staff, The place is small inside all corners has set up tables. The price is good, the serving is big for the cheap price. I will definely comeback here whenever we have chance to visit NJ.
