We enjoyed the museum. It has parking close by. Bathrooms are across the street. It cost
$10 to visit. A small gift shop. You can have group tours. They have a elevator to use. It takes
about 1-2 to go thru the museum.
My family happened to be in the area, and we took some time to visit this wonderful little museum. Entry is a donation of $5 or $10 for the entire family. The museum isn't large, but the exhibits are well researched. It also has an on-site workshop for boat builders. It was fascinating to see boat-wrighting on display. There's an area dedicated to displaying local art, and a room dedicated to teaching conservation.
The gift shop also had very reasonable prices, and the volunteer was very helpful. It's not something you'd drive an hour to go to, but it's worth the visit if you're in the area.
A great local museum I love this town!
A nice little museum that helps you see the history of their waterfront. Enjoyed our visit and it helps to see before walking the Havre de Grace park.
We find the staff friendly, the exhibits interesting and, at least when we visited it, they had a exhibit on Captain John Smith. When scouting out the rivers Havre De Grace happened to be the most northern point of his exploration. A LOT of history in such a small town!
Loved this little museum and the lovely volunteers who were there today. The lady at the front desk was so friendly and welcoming to the community and the men working in the boat shop were so informative and interesting.
Loved all the artifacts and the the compass display was awesome as was the speed boat. Only issue was that the sign said $9 per family. We did have a big family but we ended up paying for three families as there is a 2 adult max per family. The Mark 2 looks cool.
An excellent museum for understanding the bay culture and how important the rivers were to earlier generations that lived here. The museum also has a nice exhibit on the indigenous population prior to European settlement in Havre de Grace. Also, the gift shop has a good selection of bay-themed gifts.

Wanted to get out to see some water on a beautiful day and made a spontaneous road trip. My son and dog were along for the ride, and we all enjoyed our visit. There was a garden event wrapping up, so visited some vendors. Parking was easy and free. B
A truly delightful charming B&B. We loved the decor and environment. We found it to be warm and welcoming. We received a text explaining what to expect upon arriving. A very thorough detailed letter was waiting upon arrival. Nice job.

This is a perfect location if you like wide open green fields with a wide, asphalt walking track. It has quite a bit of convenient parking. It seems popular with people walking their dogs.
Frank's has amazing food at reasonable prices. We usually get the pizza but if we decide on something different then you can't go wrong with the MacDaddy sub or cheeseburger on Kaiser roll and my husband swears by getting the fish sub. The sauce you
We were visiting the area and we found this gem. The service was great, we got there an hour and half before they closed so it was pretty empty but oh boy it was a good experience. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, the chef was awesome, I u
