The Haven at Westwood - Hotel in Toms River - 2373 Lakewood Rd, USA

Very happy with my stay. Arrived late after a wedding, went straight to my room as I had the codes to check in prior to arrival. No need to wait or get stuck at a front desk. Hotel and room was impeccably clean. Room was functional and had everything I needed. Including water bottles which was greatly appreciated, abundant soap and shampoo which smells great, and a refrigerator. Between all, this was a very comfortable, enjoyable, and efficient stay. This wasn’t my first time there, I look forward to next time I have the opportunity to stay here at the Haven.

Clean and spacious. A very nice place to rest . An unusual hotel experience, however, as there is no reception - we were given codes to enter the front door and our room door. There is also no elevator, though the first floor appears ADA accessable. Be ready to carry your bags to the second floor. No gym, either, for what it's worth. If you want a lovely room with a usable kitchen, this is your place.

This place has no staff—not even a front desk. So if you need something, for example, more toilet paper, you are out of luck. They provide you with a number to text, but only until 7 p.m. After that, you are on your own for anything that might pop up. This is a very strange for a hotel and we felt "left on our own." There are no TVs at all. No room comes with one. Even the cheapest motel in the world offers a TV. Even prisons provide a TV. You don't know how important one is until you don't have one—even in today's world with cell phones and iPads. The kitchen has no microwave, silverware, pots or pans, soap, or paper towels -- making it useless. The walls in this place are made of paper. You can hear the slightest noise from the rooms next to you. Besides all of that, it's just an average hotel you find off the parkway. Overall the experience just comes off as cheap instead of modern.

No frills but super clean and comfortable! Perfect for someone on a business trip! A nice room with 2 queen beds. This is where I'll stay next time I come to NJ!

What a beautiful stay we had for our family. Nice clean suite with full kitchen and amenities. We will definitely stay again. Great location and very friendly staff.

First off, this hotel has no TVs. Yup, no TV in any room. Second, there are no staff anywhere at the location. Yup, no one at all. Third, the walls are razer thin and you can hear everything from other rooms. Lastly, they provide a kitchen but no pots/pans or anything else. There is also no microwave. In summary, this hotel is the definition of being owned by a cheapskate who cut every corner to boost their profits and then label it "modern." I must assume most of these reviews are paid.

Excellent 2 night stay. Incredibly clean, modern space, quiet rooms. Would def stay again if back in the area!

We visited this place and were impressed by the incredibly spacious suites, comfortable beds, nice sitting area, and kitchenette. The hallways and rooms had an inviting scent. The host provided an exceptional and hospitable experience. We eagerly look forward to returning in the future.
