It's not worth the price!! Fries, medium soda, and a pastrami burger $21 bucks. Soggy and cold fries that I ended up returning. The pastrami is nothing to rave about and ordinary. The place is very outdated, very busy but I really don't get the exorbitant prices. I wouldn't recommend it to friends or eat here again.
This place is AWESOME! Damn good pastrami sandwiches. Delicious! Even the fries are great.
The store was very clean. I've owned a few restaurants, and I'm a germaphobic, so I always check out the kitchen, and their food prep area was busy but still clean. The portions were great. I was almost able to finish a whole sandwich. Their large fries can be shared by three people.
The service was excellent. They are on the same level as In-and-Out. They were fast polite and wanted to please. I'll be back and try more items on the menu.
I have been going to the hat every Tuesday for the past 3 months. best pastrami in the game. very friendly staff, very clean, great music always playing
Delicious food! They give you a big serving also!! Love the pastrami gravy fries!!
Such unhealthy delicious food nomnomnomnomnom.
Prices are reasonable unless you order pastrami then they're a bit high. But the Pastrami is pretty good.
The Hat is awesome. The prices are pretty high for what you get, and I usually end up spending way too much here, but I am never disappointed in the food.
My wife loves the pastrami. I love the roast beef (with au jus and horseradish sauce).
Also, the cheese and gravy fries are unbelievably good. They are massive. So make sure to split them with someone.
Best time to get there is usually right after it opens.
Visiting The Hat in Murrieta is more than just a meal; it's a journey through cherished memories. Every bite of their succulent pastrami sandwich, perfectly dipped in savory au jus, brings back a flood of nostalgia and joy. The pastrami is always cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful, making each sandwich a masterpiece in its own right.
But let's not overlook the classic accompaniments – the steak-cut fries are a crispy delight, served in those iconic brown paper bags. They come with a generous helping of ketchup and Dijon mustard, creating the perfect blend of flavors. And for those who love a bit of heat, the small yellow chilies add just the right amount of spice to elevate each meaty bite.
One of my fondest memories associated with The Hat goes back to when I was seven years old. My grandpa would give my brother and me $20 to buy ourselves a pastrami sandwich and a large chili cheese fry each. Those were simpler times, yet so significant and heartwarming.
Decades have passed, but the quality and taste at The Hat remain unchanged. It's this consistency that makes every visit special. Whether you're a first-timer or a regular, the experience is always top-notch, filled with flavors that resonate with comfort and nostalgia.
Thank you, The Hat, for preserving these timeless flavors and for being a place where memories are both made and revisited. Your pastrami sandwiches aren't just food; they're a piece of history that continues to bring joy to many.
I've been to this location twice now, and each time I've been more than satisfied with what I ordered. First visit, I got the Turkey Burger. Not only was it delicious, I got out of there with a full meal for under 10$. Went back tonight and got chili cheese fries on a friends recommendation, along with a tuna sandwich. That's right, I'm giving The Hat in Murrieta a 5-star review, and I haven't even tried the pastrami yet! As the son of a deli owner, I've got high pastrami expectations, but don't worry, we'll get there.
With my friends, I added pickles. Menu says pickles and tomatoes but I asked for all pickles and they were happy to oblige. Or at least seemed happy. In fact, one of my favorite parts of my two trips to The Hat is that each time, the employees were laughing. You can tell they enjoy each other's company, and it makes for a really nice and welcoming atmosphere.
Tuna Sandwich also delicious and either of these alone would have been more than a meals worth. Added avocado to the tuna and don't regret that at all.
Loved my two times here, will definitely be back. And once I hit that World Famous Pastrami Dip? Gonna have to figure out how to give this 6-stars. It's one more, isn't it?? I'm def part of The Hat Pack now.

It was our 1st time and we would come back. Food was good. I would love to try the breakfast. Prices were reasonable. Clean dining room, customer service was great. Ordering was easy and they brought the food to our table. Overall great experience. A
It's been awhile since I've had anything from Dairy Queen. To me it seems as if the menu has been revamped some over the last several years. I downloaded the app while seated inside the actual location. I've realized this is the best way to order out
Great friendly service. The staff was efficient and patient. Made two special orders and still got our order quickly. Food was delicious. They offer an amazing lettuce wrap option for those that can't have bread or are low carb eaters.
I liked that

Had a great experience with Gloria today!
