Food is incredibly good and sushi menu is very different from the usual 5 ingredients sushi places . Service is excellent. The bacon crunch sushi roll is my favorite. The schezuan chicken and the fuji chicken are great also.
This place isn't a bad place. It's a full sit-down restaurant, but it's very calm and laid-back.
I ordered the Miso Soup and the Thai Peanut Stir-Fry with chicken. It wasn't bad. I'll come back for sure. I need to try theur sushi.

The staff at the cottonwood location is amazing! I had a mix up with an online order and they helped me out so much. The manager was so quick to help and was very generous in helping reorder my food. Can’t express how stressed I felt realizing I order from the wrong place and the manager just jumped in and fixed everything. Amazing service!!
One of my favorite restaurants! The food is always good, the servers are detailed and remember my favorite past orders. I am always happy to suggest this restaurant to friends and those looking for a new sushi restaurant. Special shout out to two of my favorite servers- Dani and Kristy they are simply the best!
First time here! Passes the vibe check for sure. My roll was great, and I asked for an entree to be split for my kids. It was plenty of food for them and they like it too, which is always a win. And...they have beer and saki.

Big fan of happy sumo! It’s my go to place - close enough in my neighborhood but far enough for cute date spot! Love the ambiance and the food has never disappointed. Rolls are priced well and fish is super fresh! I recommend the calamari and garlic spicy edamame to start and the coconut halibut is super signature and unique! And Danielle is a wonderful waitress 10 stars if I could!
