The Hangry Bison - American restaurant in Winter Garden - 250 W Plant St, USA

Great experience, we had a slight wait to get in. They did have a system to text our party for when our table was ready. We all chose the make your own burger. I tried the short rib burger. It was cooked perfectly. The topping were great. The pretzel bun was fantastic! We also ordered the pretzel bites as an appetizer, they were excellent! The staff was prompt and very accommodating!

Our server Jeremy was amazing. He was very helpful with the menu, brought food out quick, provided amazing customer service. He was also able to get me a non-alcoholic mojito because I am pregnant and can’t drink any alcohol. If you go here try to come from Monday-Friday from 3:00-6:00. Their happy hour is very affordable and good. For $5 you can get the flatbread or bourbon wings, truffle fries, or fried tomato. I did mostly happy hour appetizers. Only issue was when I made a reservation I checked off that it was for a birthday and the restaurant forgot. But other than that it work okay.

I gotta give this restaurant 5 stars. We came as a family of 5 and enjoyed the service. Our waitress Chelsea was kind, efficient and helpful. The customer service was excellent, the food was delicious and came out in great timing. My children who are picky ate all their food, the seasoning was very tasty. My son’s statement was, “he gives it an extra 5 stars!” We live two hours away and it was worth the drive.

Took my parents for an early dinner and loved the atmosphere and our server was great, engaging and helpful as it was our first time there. We ordered the fried green tomatoes and the pretzels and beer cheese as appetizers and the green tomatoes came with what appeared to be just mayonnaise slathered over them not the basil aioli mentioned on the menu. The pretzels were good, a bit salty and could use that white pretzel salt instead of what seemed like table salt on them. Three of us ordered bison burgers and they were great. This place has a great atmosphere and we noticed a lot of families with children eating as well. Would even be a great place to go for a beer and snack after work or even a date. it looked like they had a very large selection of bourbon, we would go back!

We did a create your own burger, which is really nice since you didn't have to alter some of the pre-made options and remove things you don't like. Our burgers were really tasty and I liked having an option of the pretzel bun. I must say I was slightly disappointed in the fries. When I think of fresh cut fries I think of those ones that you literally cut and throw into the fryer and they just have a whole different taste and texture. These had a lot of little tiny pieces and small pieces. Maybe a few medium. Nothing big. They almost had the taste and texture of being pre-made or being warmed after sitting out for a while. They were a little bit dry too. I would go again but I would say that the tables that are meant for two people are awfully small. Maybe 28 inch wide max. So you feel like you're being squeezed into an area between other tables. We got there before the lunch crowd and we're given a tiny table whereas several couples that came in at different times after us got the regular round table that seats 4 or even the large booth that was made for several more people.

When you are in the right place, Everything is better. Stop for a drink to calm my stress levels 😉. The service was great, food delicious as always and when they have to exchange my wings cause they were spicy no asking or talking back, they hit right on it, and make a new bash. Manager and everyone apologize, and they even gave me a sweet note and treat. 😍👍 Had wings and cheese curls and a great drink(wich I don't recall the name) 😆

The bison burger was great. The server was nice and it was not badly priced. I did enjoy writing on the menu selecting what I wanted on the burger. The only complaint I have is my sweet potato fries was soggy. The pretzel bites was great also.
