The Hampton Social - Skokie - American restaurant in Skokie - 4999 Old Orchard Shopping Center, USA

We love this place!! Hampton Social is a perfect stop for lunch or dinner while shopping at Old Orchard. Try the tuna tartar, artichoke dip, shrimp tacos and green goddess salad. They have a nice menu selection so if you want to have a variety of dishes go family style and order different items from each section of the menu. The cocktails are delicious and they even have Non-alcoholic Rose. Service is good. Decor is off the charts and great place for people watching eating outdoors in summer. Pricey though. Expect to pay a hefty bill.

We’ve been to Hampton Socials in other locations, so were happy to see one when we were at this shopping center and ready for lunch. Beautiful aesthetic that makes you feel like you’re on vacation in New England, top notch customer service, and delicious food! My husband ordered the Parmesan truffle fries to start, so decadent. He really enjoyed his smash burger too. When I ordered the chicken pesto bowl, the server asked if I had any allergies, and I said I have a gluten sensitivity. She immediately checked with the kitchen to see if there were any ingredients I shouldn’t have, and came back to say that the chicken usually is breaded, but they would leave that off on mine, and would also omit anything with a chance of cross contamination. Super impressed with how seriously they took this and how knowledgeable they were. The manager delivered my meal himself. The lack of bread crumbs certainly didn’t detract from the quality, it was an intensely flavored meal with interesting combination of fresh crisp vegetables, the warm chicken with pesto, crunch from pistachios, tang from feta and olives - just amazing.

I just want to personally thank my server Diana and the general manager Tamera, for their EXCELLENT customer service. I've been working in the food industry for almost 4 years and I've always valued good customer service so being able to experience that as a customer truly meant the world to me. It's crazy that its rare but you appreciate it so much when it does happen! Keep doing what you guys are doing and I will be back! P.S. Thank you for the amazing pictures Tamera!

I attended a work lunch event and tried a variety of dishes. Some were excellent, like the Mac and Cheese with Lobster, Lobster Roll, and Donut Drops, while others were not as impressive. The prices seemed a bit high to me. Our server, Jae, provided excellent service, being attentive throughout the meal.

It was a very cute restaurant with nice vibes. Good place for brunch I think. Food was okay. Octopus was really soft and tasty although potatoes that came with were not fully cooked. Shrimp tacos were good, and pizza was okay but had very strong goat cheese flavor.

Great atmosphere and service. Food and beverages came out in a timely manner. Everything tasted great. We wanted photos with the rose sign and staff was happy to help out. Highly recommend.

I love Hampton social and have almost tried all of them in chicago. This one is my favorite! The ambience is so relaxing and it’s nice being around the mall too. The staff is extremely attentive. The first time I went with my husband, the manager Timarah made sure we got the seats we wanted and were comfortable Our server Joe knew the menu THOROUGHLY and was extremely funny. We loved it! The second time I went my friends and I were taken care of by Timarah and a few other managers on the rooftop too which was nice and Stephanie was our server and was amazing too! I love how all the staff are attentive and the managers walk around to every table to check on everyone. I love all of the drinks and food too that’s why I keep coming back!

My friend and I had brunch here on Saturday and it was absolutely lovely. The atmosphere was so nice and the service was excellent. My friend and I were also surprised at how delicious the food was. I am still thinking about the Bananas Foster French Toast that I had -- definitely one of the best french toast that I've ever had. I think the price is also good for such a nice brunch place. I'm not in Skokie often, but will definitely be coming back for brunch sometime.
