The Hampton Social - River North - American restaurant in Chicago - 353 W Hubbard St, USA

Hampton Social was a tasty dinner and welcome escape from the cold outside. I ordered the chicken pesto bowl, which was flavorful and satisfying. The chicken was juicy and moist. My friend ordered the salmon, which was over cooked and dry unfortunately. My other friend ordered the green goddess bowl with salmon. She said that the salmon was cooked well, but the salad was a bit overdressed. Her salad had cubes of dry, hard pork belly in it which was a huge oversight on the kitchen’s part and detracted from the dish. All in all, there were several gluten free options and I had a nice meal. I would recommend the chicken pesto bowl!

The food, service, drinks is top notch. Victor was fantastic. I had an amazing lunch with my sister (I am in from out of town but IL is forever my home). Thank you for a wonderful and special experience. Highly recommend. 11/10!

In general, this restaurant is remarkable. But to be precise, some waiters aren't the best and the music is at times too loud. Loud to the point that the waiter "could not hear" our order right. It's also a bit warm in the restaurant, so don't bring a full winter coat. Other than the cons, the tunes are nice, there's a coat rack, the food is delicious, and they make extravagant mock tails! I would recommend this place for a date, as the lighting during night is intimate and the decorations are nice. One main problem was the food being messed up, our waiter heard us wrong and gave us dairy in one of the meals, then charged us more for the asparagus which was supposed to come free with the meal. The place is nice, the truffle fries and calamari are delicious. The bathrooms are tiny. And that's it!

A completely amazing experience! Our server was helpful and kind, answering any questions I had. I ordered clam chowder, lobster roll and banana cream pie, each bite just as flavorful as the last. The atmosphere was dark and moody, for some too dark but for me and my wife it was perfect. Music wasn't too loud either. The GM would visit the tables, including ours to see how everything is. Overall a wonderful experience for finding this place on Google maps!

Really love this place we went last summer, and the service was awesome. They took us in with being 30 minutes closing time. The restaurant was almost full but the food was amazing, and service was good. Definitely would go back again!

Brunch was an absolute delight - flawless cuisine, exceptional service, and a charming atmosphere; undoubtedly deserving a perfect 10 out of 10. Be sure to make a reservation and indulge in the delectable Monkey Bread! As out-of-towners, we sought a trendy brunch destination with great food, and this place, among a few others, exceeded our expectations.

I ordered the salmon and it was ok, a little dry. The Brussel sprouts were delicious. They serve the water room temperature with no ice. So I asked for ice which made it better. They turned the lights down so low that I had trouble seeing. We were at a work dinner so that made it difficult to conversate.

We were super tired from flying/traveling. We just checked into our hotel and were hungry. My boyfriend found this place for us to try, walking distance from our hotel. Food was amazing! - we had the salmon poke, crab cakes, and garden goddess salad. The live music was awesome and I really enjoyed all his cover songs.
