The Halal Guys - Halal restaurant in Union - 2317 US-22, USA

This was my first taste of Middle Eastern cuisine, and I gotta say I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the Regular platter with beef gyro, falafel, saffron rice, and white sauce. I loved the homestyle feel. The white sauce was delicious! It adds a creamy, tangy element to the platter that's amazing. The friendly and accommodating staff made the dining experience even better. They were helpful in explaining the menu to a newcomer like me. The vegetables tasted very fresh! It added a crisp and healthy dimension to the meal. Also it was very reasonably priced with generous portions! Abdu and Jaden are the best they provided the best sevice! Overall, I would rate my experience a solid 4/5.

Upon walking in I was greeted so warmly by Rama. It was my first time and she guided me throughout the whole process of creating my own platter. She explained all the options and didn’t make me feel rushed. She is definitely a great member of their team. Overall, great first experience and the restaurant was clean and smelled amazing!

I wish there was 0 star..Order 4 players spent $85 and this what I was served.. Old burnt chicken with excessively salty sauce.. Couldn't eat it. Please do not waste your money here.. Cold food and very bad service.. I wish it would taste like NYC one.. the quality is very very bad.. Will never eat this platter ever..

We ordered gyro wrap and this is what we got. Asked white sauce and got Buffalo sauce pool. Employees don’t care

First time here at this location as i have been to many locations in Jersey and New York. I got a chicken gyro and i must say HANDS DOWN this is the best one i have ever been to. I don't know how they season their chicken but it is HEAVENLY!!! I already made this my new go to spot as of today. The only thing i don't like is the prices. Their platters and the gyro are a couple of dollars more than other locations, even more expensive than the New York locations. Staff was super friendly and helpful and the place is clean as a whistle. EMPHASIS on (Love that the staff was friendly) because many restaurant employees have terrible attitudes and a lot of times that makes me walk out and resulting in me leaving a bad review and never returning. So kudos to them for that!! The only thing bad that happened was that my pita bread was pretty hard and cold. I don't know if that is how they do it here or not but usually at Halal Guys i always get a warm and soft pita. Will be back but will make sure to ask for better pita bread. As good as the chicken was that cold and hard pita was the only thing that made it slightly less enjoyable

Everyone helping us there was extremely nice, competent and efficient. The food was fresh and hot and delicious. Service was amazing. Rama took great care of us when we sat down to eat. She checked on us often and would ask if we needed anything. It was also very clean and I felt very comfortable eating there. Definitely recommend all their food. We order dinner from there on a weekly basis and it has never disappointed. Halal Guys is awesome!! Thank you!!!

I can’t believe this place has been under my nose for years and today was my first time trying! Everything was flavorful, fresh and delicious. Best falafel I have had in the area! Chicken was well seasoned and juicy. Staff was friendly and helpful, extra special thank you to the lovely lady behind the counter who recommended the mango iced tea! I will be feeding myself for the next two days with this massive portion, and then I will be back for more!

The worst chicken in my whole life. The chicken is roll and even not cut it into pieces. It smells and it doesn’t worts the money. Exactly I don’t know why the people spend a lot of money on these Halal guys.
