The Habit Burger Grill - Hamburger restaurant in Foster City - 1297 Chess Dr A, USA

I tried this location via dining-in, take-out, and dashing. Dine-in and take-out are much more worth it. The restaurant is decently clean. The staff is courteous. And the wait time is reasonable. I like the burgers, especially the Portabella Char. The fries and tempura green beans are both delicious. The dine-in portion is almost double the size of the Doordash portion. The milkshakes are good too, but on the smaller side. If you don't order drinks and only want water, it's located at the soda machine. The label indicating where the water is might be small, but if you look hard enough, it's there. There are plenty of parking in the plaza. So if you live in the area or happen to pass by, I would recommend this Habit Burger Grill.

Pretty good food -- way better than your typical fast food joint. I've had business in Foster City, so I've eaten there three times now. The burgers are delicious, but also the salads, which are a meal themselves. The people working there are very nice. It's a pleasant place. I recommend it.

Generally excellent but this was so disappointing. My burger was soggy and soft, Wet bread, And gross. My grandson's burger was good, But mine was horrible. Generally I have good experience but this was not a good experience. I threw the burger into the garbage.

For the fast food type of burger place I think Habit is the best with the best prices. They make it to order but the wait time is fairly quick. They also have a variety of items. The only thing I don't like is their cheese so I don't order it. I don't like most cheeses on burgers because they are usually processed American cheese.

Nice place for a quick burger !! Quality / Price is fair . Staff is friendly and the place is clean. The fries were quite good and the burger also good , maybe just a bit overcook but overall, tasted very good so I recommend the Habit Burguer.

Everything was fresh and tasted great! Just a few tables outdoors but 8 really appreciated the self serve fountain drinks, peppers bar full of pepperocinis and spicy chili pickled peppers.

Food this time was MUCH better than the last. I highly recommend the strawberry salad with grilled chicken. In fact, salads may be where it's at here. Everyone at our table enjoyed their salads. Music by Red Vinyl was awesone!! Service has sadly not improved at all. We never received the brussel sprouts we ordered and yet were charged for them. It was difficult to get our server's attention, everyone around us was joking about how the server's here wear blinders. If I was the owner, it's now what I would want people thinking. Bar was shutting down an hour early. Seems there's a bit of a management issue. Still, we go for the fresh beer/cider on tap and the music. The fireside patio is also quite nice.

Nice service, friendly staff. Unfortunately the takeout order was a little wrong, which is a shame because specific things were reiterated during the order. Food is as expected for a fast food burger chain - nothing different except that it's super hard to avoid salt. Most meal options have RDA of sodium before adding anything tasty and you can definitely tell when you eat. Kids grilled cheese is kind of ridiculous in this respect - the veggie burger would be a better option at half the adult RDA. I can't quite figure out what the mission of habit is - it seems like average fast food with extra salt. :/
