On the evening of 12/3 my wife and I had the good fortune to eat at the Gulf Stream Bar and Grille in Portsmouth located at 1 Lagoon Rd this cozy marina side eatery is a hidden gem of the Portsmouth Restaurant scene. To our surprise they had live music provided by “Music by Mel” which was very nice. I had a lovely, canned Field Day rhubarb rose sour cider. For appetizers we shared Jamaican jerk chicken wings which were flavorful and juicy. For dinner I tried the debris Sandwich and my wife had pineapple chicken. My sandwich was tender, slow cooked, pulled beef with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and some of the most delicious house made half sour pickles I've had around here. And the few bites of her pineapple chicken I was able to get were extremely tender and flavorful, the yellow rice was also delicious. We are going to try dessert the dessert was fantastic and different from anything we have tried around Town fried plantains with ice cream. The service we received the entire time was fantastic. Our server was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and attentive.
Puppy friendly 😭🥹 I saw 5 beautiful puppy beings. Ok now onto the food. Very yummy clam chowder, we got a dinner for two for $50 included two soups or salad, a shared app (we got Thai chili wings) & 2 meals, I got fish & chips & the other meal was Bermuda Fish Chowder. Yummy & well priced. Another person in our party got the 10 oz prime rib & it was tasty, you know I had to try a bite🥹.
I no like… been here a couple times. The menu items are very hit or miss. Pork chop and fish tacos were eehh.. not very good. Was not a fan of the applesauce on the pork chops but the long beans were good. The fish chowder was OK at best. Desserts aren’t bad. I remember getting mussels here and they were quite good. View is good here and restaurant looks somewhat well kept. Very spacious
Husband and I stopped by after visiting the car museum near by. We only had some drinks and oysters, so we can’t say much about the food. Drinks were not that strong. Oysters were pretty standard. Oyster took a while to come out. Maybe cause it was still early? We were not the first ones there though, it was around early afternoon and the restaurant was not busy at all.
My husband, our pup and I had the chance to checkout the newly built addition at Gulf Stream this past weekend. What a change! The additional seating is enclosed and heated now accommodating 5-6 more tables and the outdoor bar. It is fantastic. The food arrived super quickly- we ordered sandwiches (mine was the Debris pictured) and they were delicious. The debris has tender roast beef with cheese and horseradish sauce- I love it because it reminds me of my beloved favorite - the beef on week. Relax, have some sips on the new deck and a Sammy or 2 at this awesome dog friendly spot on the water.
Stopped by at noon on a Friday for lunch. Some shaded seating outside. We ate inside, very pleasant. Food was delicious, Melissa, our server, was very knowledgeable about the food, drinks, the specials, and very sweet as well. I would suggest this place to anyone that is in the vicinity.
What a wonderful place. The staff was polite and friendly and the Nachos were AWESOME. Melissa was our waitress and she was great. Got the Nachos with “debris” which was slow roasted Chuck roast along with the pineapple salsa. Along with Cocktails.
Found this hidden gem as we were looking for a dog friendly place. Kerri our server was very nice. Food was good including the Buddy burger for our furry boy. Atmosphere was excellent. However we decided to get an after dinner drinks for dessert. My husband got a peanut butter mudslide and I got an espresso martini- it was not good - watery. When Kerri checked in I told her I did not like the espresso martini and could not drink it- she took it way. When the bill arrived it was included ($13). I called over the hostess as he walked by and said I sent back my drink and I would think that it would’ve been taken off the bill. He was very polite and said ok I will be back- well who came back was apparently the manager who was also the the inside bartender who made it. She proceeded to say hi -so you have a question- I said no I don’t have a question- I returned my drink and I thought it would be taken off the bill as I did not drink it because it was not good. She went into defensive mode stating the ingredients are listed on the menu and unless we messed up that’s how it’s made. Really? I said fine we will pay the bill. She went on to say no I will take it off but it’s our policy not to- she went on and on - over $13 ! Terrible customer service by this manager - again our server Kerri was great. To have the manager come over to us and be confrontational is unacceptable . It ruined what was up until she came over to us a perfectly pleasant evening

This is a fun museum. It is well laid out and the cars are spread apart with no barriers around the cars. The collection is 1950s and up with a great selection of Mustangs and Corvettes. They have several Italian super cars and a Porsche room as well
Came in with a group of 7 and seated immediately. Well, Localz did just open at 4. Eddie was our server and very knowledgeable and friendly. I had the Buffalo Chicken Mac and Cheese and, oh boy, it was delicious. The view from the windows was pretty
Top tier food, service and atmosphere. This place is Amazing! I had stuff sole, my wife had surf and turf. Someone else had the sole and Someone had land and sea. Everyone Loved their meals. Very reasonably priced. Who can't go wrong here!
I can vouch for the other reviews! Had a very pleasant, satisfying and delicious meal here at Valley Inn on Fri March 17th! No St Patrickâs Day specialties but we came for the Italian dishes. The white pizza was delicious! I couldnât decide b
5 stars because it was exactly as advertised. Clean place to stay. Relatively quiet. Located between Bristol and Newport. I have no complaints. You can hear neighboring sounds, but with the AC on, that drowns out the sound. Not a problem. I'd stay he
